Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Very pleasant riding vehicle. Very good visibility. I had no major problems with the car. Handles excellently on dry and wet pavement.

  • 12+ Year Old Accord - 1995 Honda Accord

My dad bought me this car because I was getting a job soon, and going back and forth to school. This aging car still has pep! 170 hp and averaging 24 MPG in the city and I dont do much highway travel. Its not Super Fast but it does have get up and go!! It rarely leaves me wanting for more. The leather seats are in great shape without rips or tears. The sunroof is FUN(ctional) and I use it almost daily! The trunk has more than enough space for me. I love the ergonomics. Everything falls right where you expect them to be. From the cold ac to the amazing old stereo with CD player! The windows are slow but tolerable for a 12 year old car. Some elbow grease fixes that.

  • All ownership should be like this - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my second Accord. I purchased the car at the end of my 48 months lease. For what it is, it drives great. It inspires confidence on the road and the car is easy to position even over the limits. An ideal format for me and it is very roomy. I wouldnt be confortable in a smaller car like an A4 or 3-series. I had a few minor issues, but no unexpected out of pocket expense in 110000km. (except the tire jack that crashed with no reason)! Service from dealer (Blainville) is very good. Styling is contemporary and better than average for the class. I can only recommend.

  • 02 Honda Accord Coupe - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

Overall, very positive. Although the fuel economy was a bit disappointing. I would sacrifice fuel economy for the V6 though. Very comfortable ride for a 45 mile each way daily commute. 0 maintenance problems I think it says alot about the car that one of my suggested improvements is as petty as cup holder placement.

  • 1st Honda - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my first Honda, although weve had Hondas in the family for over 30 yrs. I wanted a bigger car than the one I was driving..looked at the Intrepid & Concorde but afraid of losing the handle of a small car, saw the new Honda Accord and thought what a perfect size car for me. Test drove the Honda and fell in love. Handles like a small car but has the luxury of a large car. Im now sold as a Honda owner forever as long as they stay or get better over the years. Love the sound system, quiet ride, pick- up and go power...everything I just love

  • Good car - 2006 Honda Accord

This is my first Honda. So far everyone in my family has one. I test drove the 2006 Honda Accord EX and the the 07 Toyota Camry LE. I preferred the way the Honda felt, plus it has more HP than the Camry. My 8 yr. old daughter also prefered the Accord over the Camry because the backseat was more comfortable for her with out a headrest pushing her head forward.

  • Are you Unsure between the 4 or 6 Cylinder? Read on for why the 4 is Awesome - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

I seldom write reviews but given how much I was unsure about whether to lease the 4 or 6, and how much I LOVE the 4, I thought a review might be helpful to those in the same boat. I drove both the 4 and the 6 and am coming from a 1999 Accord with 178,000 miles that had a powerful V-6. I drove both the 2013 EX-L with Navi 6 and 4 Cylinder. The 6 Cylinder just seemed kind of heavy and I felt as if I had to keep my foot on the pedal all the time. On the other hand, the 4 is very smooth and has plenty of power when needed. And the gas mileage so far that I am getting on the highway (in eco mode) is slightly over 36 on the highway and around 25 in the city. Its an awesome car.

  • Cabin noise - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

A lot of cabin noise. Front side pass. door panel make noise(s). Glove door panel rattles. Something in the driver panel makes a spingy noise (kinda like a PC hard drive running). Other then weird noise. everything else is pretty good. Dealer service department told me that there are other Accord 08 are having the same problem.

  • Outstanding Value - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned many cars in my past. Ive owned 9 Hondas, 3 Toyotas, 2 Chyrslers, 3 Chevrolets, and two Fords. Before buying the Accord, I test drove everything in its class. I kept coming back to the Accord. Its by far the best bang for the buck, its sized just right, and the performance it good for what youre buying. Ive not had any issues with it except for the seat. I think a car in this price should include the power drivers seat. I could use another adjustment or two. But its not bad enough to have changed my mind. I love the extended Warrenty. Im covered to 100K miles bumper to bumper. It did cost me a little, but its well worth it.

  • A car that makes sense - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

We own an 02 Accord EX which we are very happy with. Still, I was surprised at just how much finer our new one is: its peppier, the leather is nicer, the mileage is better, the interior is more luxurious, and the price is just about what we paid for the 02! This is a thinking persons car - it does what a car should do, reliably, and with comfort, practicality and economy. I rent a lot of mid-sized cars in my job and there is not a one of them that even comes close.
