Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Bland but will drive forever - 2002 Honda Accord
By wagonneer2 - March 15 - 2:00 amWe have had our Accord for about a year and half (16000 mi). It is smooth, solid, and reliable. The interior is very inviting with good quality plastics. Just about everyhting is in the right place (except cup holders). Dash is much nicer to look at than Camry, Altima or other family sedans. Suspension is firmer than Camry but seems to handle better. The exterior styling is very bland, but better than the 2003 models, which have an ugly back end. This car will last forever.

Beauty - 1997 Honda Accord
By dove21 - March 15 - 2:00 amThis is the first Accord I have bought and I just love it. The look is so sleek and smooth. It handles very nice and I am so happy to be the second owner of it. The elderly couple only had 48900 kms on it when I bought it last April. Very stylish car!

Different Honda - 2008 Honda Accord
By ljgbjgrpgmpg - March 14 - 1:53 pmWell, after having the car for a month I have to say the experience so far is very disappointing. The VCM is so annoying - hunting between modes at highway speeds. The surging/lurching is noticeable and not seamless and makes my wife ill - she thinks I am doing something - I have it on cruise!! Fuel "economy" is not as good as on 2004 coupe we had - only 27-28 on the road.

Great Car - 1999 Honda Accord
By Stacy - March 14 - 1:37 pmWe have really enjoyed our reliable Honda. We have had a few minor electrical problems, like dash lights burning out, but, otherwise it has been great.

Great Value - 2008 Honda Accord
By Akif T - March 14 - 7:40 amI have an Audi A6 and Jetta. Jetta was my commute car but after 165K, decided for a equivalent fun commute car. The V6 is great, amazing stereo, navigation is outstanding. It has enough room to fit a car seat and have two people comfortable in the back. The only drawback is that my car vibrates at around +60mph. I will be taking it back to the dealer - dont know if it is wheels or engine. The ride is not smooth - the main purpose I bought the V6 was for a comfortable ride and to avoid frequent trips to dealership for fixes and repairs. Will have to wait and see how Honda service measures up against the Audi and VW which were very dissapointing. All in all, we love the V6 with Navi

Cant go wrong - 2014 Honda Accord
By K - March 13 - 6:38 pmThis car is simply amazing, Im pretty much in love with it. I sat in the front, the passenger, the back seats, all the seats are extremely comfortable. I really do not know what all the complaining is about. I am 510 and 200lbs of medium muscular build and this car fits me perfectly. The performance of the car is amazing. The engine puts out intense power for its small size and fuel economy is still at 40mpg when you are driving it properly. The "Eco" button is great. The car holds the road very stable and the suspension is a smooth ride. It feels like a caddilac. A little rougher over bumps and stuff than I expected but that is probably because it still has factory tires. Someone said the trunk is small. Sorry guys, this trunk is utterly massive. You could literally fit two grown adults inside it and have room to spare. Someone complained about folding seats. As far as I am aware my back seats do not fold down at all. This isnt an issue for me. The interior is so spacious, luxuriant, and aesthetically attractive as well as utilitarian and useful, that I simply could not ever criticize any one thing about it. Everything down to the spring-loaded cupholder that "hugs" your cup so that any size cup fits it. The rear windows are positioned so well and so large that checking my blindspots or seeing behind me could not possibly be any easier. The shifting is liquid smooth when you do it properly and the steering response is incredible. I have driven over 3,000 miles now and these are literally the only two complaints I have: There is no gear indicator. Is this really necessary? No. Would it be nice? Yeah. But who cares. I cannot adjust the brightness on my instrument panel (Tach, speedo, etc.). It is available on some models, but apparently not mine. This makes no sense to me. So, for all the things that you could complain about in a car, the seats, the performance, the price, the interior, any of it, I literally could only find two infinitesimal and non-issue things to complain about. Buy this car today.

Honda still doing it right. - 2006 Honda Accord
By Robert Smith - March 12 - 7:13 pmI have owned honda cars in the past. With the gas prices the way the are I went for an economical car. Accord was the choice and honda is sill doing it right. The 2.4 has great pep and getting over 32 m.p.g. As in the past the car is fun to drive solid ride and oh yea, the air bag system is second to none. Thanks again Honda for making my choice easy.

Company Car - 2005 Honda Accord
By eGuepardInc - March 12 - 5:53 pmFor a Hybrid, this cars acceleration matchs that of any sport touring sedan in its price range. It is quiet and comfortable to drive. When the engine shuts down at a stop light takes some getting use to. The engine start up as you accelerate from a light is an item Honda needs to smooth out. Braking with a "Auto Stop" engine is another task a driver needs to adjust to. So far the gas mileage is 32mpg with a total of 1,500 miles driven. In California with gas at $2.50 per gallon expect to pay a $2,000 to $3,000 premium (Dealer Mark Up) on the vehicle.

Love my new Honda with a caveat - 2005 Honda Accord
By Pat - March 12 - 10:00 amMy Honda has wonderful performance and power to pass the slowpokes but I have to say I am somewhat disappointed in the gas mileage I get in city driving. I average about 22mpg in the city and I do mostly city driving.I suppose for a V-6 that is pretty good but I was hoping to get closer to 25mpg in the city. The main thing was getting used to the brakes, they are quite sensitive to the slightest touch. The other thing is when you pull into the garage and are trying to coast in, the engine sometimes shuts off on you and you have to come up on the brake to get all the way in without stopping short.Other than that it is luxury plus! My friends are jealous!
