Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • First Honda w. no regrets - 2008 Honda Accord

After several years of owning comfy but less than reliable VWs, I decided the time had come to take a crack at a new Honda. The new exterior design and ACE engineering really sold me on the car, as well as the standard features on the EX-L. I needed a smart looking, roomy, reliable family car that still made me enjoy my commute when the kids werent on board. This car fits the bill. I opted for the EX-L as opposed to the EX-L V6 because at the time of purchase I wasnt sure what the future held for gas prices and a 190hp 4-cylinder seemed more than adequate for me. My only gripes with the car stem around the heated seat switches and the XM Radio.

  • What are they talking about??? - 2008 Honda Accord

I have had my EX 4 cylinder Accord sedan for 1 year now. It is my first Honda, and after reading these reviews, I had to say something! I absolutely love this car! I have a bad lower back, and the lumbar support on the seats is a life saver! I also live 3 miles away from work, and drive all city miles. I get 25 - 30 mpg, and I am a complete lead-foot! I do not know what these people are talking about saying it gets bad gas mileage! It is all relative to the way you drive!! If you need lower back support, must go with EX model at least! Will definitely get another Honda!

  • Good car for the money - 2005 Honda Accord

The engine performance is great; upgraded from a 1999 Honda Accord 4cyl LX; the Special Edition added features that made it a done deal. One annoyance though: I had to pull the glovebox light bulb out, because the light is on automatically with the headlights, so light was shining out of the cracks of the glovebox door at night... no switch to turn it off when the glovebox door is closed.. :(

  • Not a Luxury car, but nice for the price - 2002 Honda Accord

Traded a 1999 Accord EX 4-cyl for a 2002 EX V-6 at closeout. Had seen internet pictures of new style 03, hated rear styling (still do!). Like improvements in 02 vs. 99: 6-CD in dash, better stereo, side airbags, better seat support in lumbar, auto climate control, better looking tail lights. 4 minor problems noted after delivery; only sunroof required 2 visits (noise, fitment). Car sometimes makes weird moaning sound like sick cow for up to 8 hours after shutdown; not taken to dealer yet. Engine power good; noise level of engine OK, gas mileage average (21-26), at least it uses regular; car has worse than average wind, tire, and road noise; handles great but very stiff city and hwy ride.

  • My Honda - 2004 Honda Accord

I love my Honda. This is a car that handles so easily. Our family has had several Hondas and in between we had a Toyota. This was a good car but there is such a difference in the handling. The Honda can turn on a dime. The other car had a mushy feel to it. The interior is beautiful.

  • I have owned a few......... - 2004 Honda Accord

But this is not the quality of a Honda that I have known. The car itself is a nice looking car, otherwise, it is a nightmare. Terrible in snow, battery dies after 15 minutes, Gas mileage is approximately 12 MPG. Just an awful car. Honda, PLEASE TAKE THIS BACK!!!

  • The Best Decision I Ever Made - 2004 Honda Accord

This car is the absolute best thing to buy. This is my first new car and coming from a 96 Chevy Z26 Beretta, this is heavy. I am about 64, 280 pounds and I can sit comfortable with people behind me. Unfortunatly I couldnt afford the navi but even without it the interior styling is incredible.

  • Love it !!!!! But has a few quirks.... - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Performs like a champ in hot or cold weather, rain or shine. Comfy, but not plushy. Not happy with the radio setup because the big knob in the middle makes it impossible to change out with a 3rd party rig. Gas mileage is fair in town and okay/good on the highway. Backseat hold 3 squirmy kids just fine. Solid, dependable car. Would buy another Honda.
