Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I Love My Car - 2007 Honda Accord
By Betcha - April 20 - 11:53 amI just bought my First Honda last month! Let me just say after a little Saturn this ride is awesome! The care that the dealership took in helping me find my perfect car made the whole thing worth it. I love driving a manual car and even though it is only a 4 cyl it has plenty of power to get up and over the flint hills in KS. My daughter is looking forward to me handing this car down to her when she is ready to drive in 3 years. I love the color of Moroccan red. Fun and sporty car for an older mom of two girls that doesnt want to grow up!

Bought new, @ 47k miles it required a new starter - 2014 Honda Accord
By Former Honda Loyalist - April 19 - 9:51 pmI bought my 2014 Honda Accord V6 EX-L w/Navi new in June 2014 at Anderson Honda, Palo Alto. I had serviced at regular intervals at the Honda dealership. At 47,000 miles it needed a new starter and battery replacement. Ive owned used Hondas since 1992 and this was my very first new car (at age 43). My 1991 Civic ran flawlessly for over 300k miles! I selected Honda for its history of reliability having worked at dealership during my college years I knew first-hand how consistent the vehicles were. This 2014 vehicle has been a total disappointment. The Navi system is sub par and you have to pay for map updates, if you have XM radio you cant scan from your steering wheel and the song titles are truncated, the panel connected to the driver seat adjustments has fallen off, and after only 30k miles the starter was giving me issues. For nearly a year Id get nervous once I sat my car wondering if itll start ok. Finally the starter failed and my battery died so I just spent $865 to have it replaced. When I buy my next car I doubt Ill buy Honda again.

What?? I cant hear you !!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By notijeka - April 17 - 4:33 pmPurchased our Accord without any hesitation as we have had a 94 Accord for many years (still have it) and our sons have Odysseys and a Pilot. The main problem we encountered with the 08 model was ROAD NOISE. Exterior noise from trucks, motorcycles, construction equipment on the highway and the constant whining of the tires on the interstate. The noise problem has reached a point now where we are getting ready to trade in the Accord for another brand of vehicle. Driving on the highway, at highway speeds, with the windows rolled up and the a/c running sounds like we have all four windows rolled down.

My Honda - 1991 Honda Accord
By tnfhonda - April 17 - 12:05 amI have owned my 91 Accord for two years now, and it is pushing 200,000 miles. Its a pretty good car. Im learning how to maintain it and Im adding new things to it all the time. On long highway trips I can hold this car steady at 90mph easily. I can even hang with BMWs! Its a great car.

Second Times a Charm - 1996 Honda Accord
By myhond - April 16 - 5:02 pmThis is actually my second Accord.I love the way this car performs and handles. All the controls are in the right place and the interior is in impeccable condition for a pre-owned vehicle. Gas mileage is great. Although it still doesnt have the same performance as my 2000 which I loved, it still comes in a very close second. The VTEC moves out when you mash on it effortlessly even with the automatic. And the ABS stops on a dime. After keeping it a for a few more years, Im gonna get yet another Accord.

Rock solid and fun - 2003 Honda Accord
By Daprof - April 16 - 10:00 amI was sold after one block on my test drive. The Accord is one fantastically engineered machine for the money. I got the 4 cyl. and manual trans. for fuel economy, but the performance is still great. No problems at all merging on the interstate or passing.

Would not buy another new Accord - 2003 Honda Accord
By Slim Jim - April 16 - 10:00 amV6: Too many rattles for a Brand new car. RR side window drags thus scratchws it on the FIRST try. 16 days after purchased. Paint is just OK. Slight pings become dents throughout. I placed my hand on the side roof and a small indentation remained. I weigh 148 lbs.
