Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

A good car but has some notable issues - 2004 Honda Accord
By Matt - May 27 - 2:10 pmEX V6 CPE 5A Overall this is a good value car that handles pretty well, accelerates well, and is a comfortable and good looking daily driver. The leather interior is a cut above competitors. Fuel economy is acceptable (23mpg). At 60K, the car has held up pretty well with some notable exceptions. First, the transmission is about to go. I had the recall done and it still is shifting rough and slips in 2nd bad. A friend had his go violently and almost crashed. The brake rotors continue to warp and I am replacing them with aftermarket. I replaced the stock wheels with 18s and its a big improvement. Also I had a bunch of squeak and rattle issues as well as a burned out center console.

Good family car - 2015 Honda Accord
By B.A. - May 26 - 6:06 pmOverall I like the car. The inside is roomy and comfortable, I have plenty of leg room and even with a car seat placed in the middle back seat, we can still seat 2 adults behind. The ride is smooth but you can definitely hear the road on the highway. What I would say is that I am not impressed by the acceleration. That is something I will definitely consider next time I shop for a car.

Back to Honda - 2013 Honda Accord
By suwish - May 24 - 11:10 amMy last car was 2007 BMW 335i Coupe so I was worried about getting bored with a normal car. Not so with the Accord Sports 4D or the Coupe with paddle shifter. The 4 cyl is plenty powerful, quiet, great handling, & fantastic gas mileage. I got the Coupe LX-S which is the base model yet it came with bluetooth, auto temp control, back up camera, cruise. Missed my remote access but thats it. Back to lower maintenance cost, less gas, & feeling smart about getting good value. Got it at $22,393 with sticker at $24,990. Damn good car for the money.

New Honda Loyalist - 2008 Honda Accord
By RRoss95350 - May 23 - 5:36 pmI am a first time Honda owner, but I think that this will definitely not be my last. There are other vehicles out there that offer more economy, or power, or more comfort (usually at a much higher price point). But the Accord seems to be a perfect meld of all these facets, without sacrificing anything in the process. It has a great power to economy ratio, the leather seating and interior controls are functional, easy to use and comfortable. Trunk space is more than adequate, and the new exterior styling is just what this car needed to really pop. I purchased the EX-L Coupe 2.4L and at 30 miles per gallon, my wallet thanks me as well!

My "new" car - 1993 Honda Accord
By 1993 10th Anniversar - May 22 - 2:57 pmI still call my 1993 Honda Accord my new car. I do love it, but I dont like the whistling from the windows if I go more than 30 mph. Otherwise, I love my Honda and I will buy another. I love the style, the large front window and the large back window. No cars compete with that so far. Otherwise, I love my car.

Exceptional Value - 2004 Honda Accord
By Impressed1960 - May 22 - 2:00 amExceptional value is this cars best feature. Nothing comes close for the money. This car is FAST! The handling could be sharper, but this would compromise ride quality. Interior is top notch, both in materials and layout. Exterior styling is growing on me, still not real fond of the rear end. Fuel economy has been 23 Mpg in mostly city driving. Performance, comfort, reliability, safety, economy... what else could you want!

Beware Electrical Problems - 2001 Honda Accord
By Ikiru - May 21 - 10:00 amGenerally a very good car. BUT, beware because there is an electrical problem with accessory socket (former cigarette lighter). Honda acknowledges some sort of problem between this socket (which I use for a cell phone charger) and the Supplimental Restraint System (SRS system). Ive had to take it in 4 times so far to get it reset, because light is supposed to warn you of a potential problem with the airbags, etc.

Excellent Value - 2008 Honda Accord
By RLM - May 20 - 8:06 amHad a 2005 Honda Pilot EX which provided 15 MPG. With the price of gas going to over $3.00 per gallon I wanted something more fuel efficient but large enough to seat four adults comfortably and provide a sense of safety too. Honda always provided a quality product for the money so I drove a Civic EX sedan, the Accord EX sedan, and a CR-V. The Civic was too small. The CR-Vs engine felt like it needed more horsepower. The Accord was quiet, was easy to drive, seemed to be the right size, and would provide decent mileage. First two tankfulls delivered 20 MPG. Somewhat less than I was expecting but 33% better than the Pilot. I have the car on a three year lease and am pleased with it.

Love it...my 6th one!!! - 2015 Honda Accord
By J. Taylor - May 20 - 7:38 amShop around and get one with good mileage and well taken care of. It definitely pays off in the long run especially if you plan to keep it more than 4 or 5 years. Makes for a good trade-in on a NEW one!!
