Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Never buy a honda, NEVER!!!!!!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By James - June 19 - 11:20 pmI have always been a gm person, but I gave Honda a try, which was a gigantic mistake. It wouldnt even start on the second day, it had Major airbag problems and transmission problems. The build quality is also terrible, the front fender fell off at 4,500 miles (I didnt even go over any bumps) I need my car for work driving on the highway, and this Honda has broken down on me twice while cruising at 65 mph. This all happened in about a 5 month period, I ended filing a lemon law suit, got my money back and bought a better car since the end of February, Ive been driving a new Chevy impala ls (base model) and it has not given me a single problem please, if your buying a car, dont buy a Honda!

Probably my favorite car of all time - 2004 Honda Accord
By gtj - June 18 - 1:18 amThis is our 2nd Accord and this one has all the toys that the other didnt - V6, leather, white (other one was black). We actually traded an older Lexus in for this one, is it a Lexus? Sure its not but its the best buy around for 1/2 the price. Even drive a Camry V6 XLE before buying this one - this one is just plain fun to drive! BTW, did I mention that Im getting 24mpg around town? Thats the same as the 1992 4-banger above.

Rear Brake, Road Noise, Remote Control - 2008 Honda Accord
By nj2004 - June 18 - 12:10 amNeed to replace rear brakes @28k miles. Road noise got worse after replacing the rear brakes. Remote control didnt work after 18 months. Far short of what I have expected from Honda. I have owned a Pilot for nearly 6 years. No problems at all for Pilot.

Outstanding Car! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Scowboy5150 - June 17 - 10:00 amLeased this car after looking at BMW 330, Acura TSX and Infiniti G35 Coupe. I used to think the BMW manual was the slickest shifting unit out there until I got my Accord. Clutch is effortless and the shifter moves into each gate with a satisfying mechanical click. Honda really got it right with this car. Fit/finish is what youd expect from Honda- superb. Very mild mannered during normal driving but the 3.0 V6 will stand up and roar if you get your foot in it. This car is every bit as good as its higher-priced competitors. If you dont care much about status symbols like BMW, definitely look at this car and save 10 grand.

The nicest car Ive ever owned - 2016 Honda Accord
By Jennifer Faircloth - June 16 - 2:41 pmI bought the 2016 after selling my 2004 EX-L, a car I drove since it was brand new and loved dearly. The changes in the model over 12 years are enough to give you whiplash, but most are for the good. The technology alone is mind-blowing: back-up camera and right-side blind spot camera, display screen, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, memory drivers seat, push-button start, and "smart key". I love not having to dig through my purse for a key in order to get into the car or open the trunk. The ride is so quiet that you almost wonder if youre actually driving. Driver visibility is good; the windshield pillar on the passenger side isnt as much of a blind spot as it was on my 04. Seats are super comfy and the sound system is amazing. And the styling is anything but boring. I really love the way this car looks. A few downsides: the touchscreen is kind of wonky. It really stinks not having a volume knob (though I do appreciate the mute button that pops up when you adjust the volume). CarPlay needs some work. Its easiest if you tell Siri what to do, but Siri doesnt always get the message right. And its difficult to navigate the Artist list on the music app. You have to select the first letter just right; if you dont, it wont let you scroll up or down to another letter. The Apple Maps navigation is decent, but doesnt really substitute for a good GPS unit. You cant type anything directly into it; you either have to scroll down to an address youve searched previously, or you have to pray that Siri understands the address. Hoping Apple improves this with future updates. My only other complaint is that the center console is really small, about half the size of the one in my 2004. The top of the 04 console could also slide forward to provide an armrest for someone (like me) who has to pull the seat forward. This one doesnt move. All in all, I love this car; the irritations are minor to say the least. Honda continues to provide great value. I cant believe I got such a fine car for under $30K.

The No problem car with some style - 2005 Honda Accord
By Foreign guy in USA - June 15 - 1:00 pmI have had this car - 2.4L 4 cyl 5 spd manual- for 8 months now and over 9000 miles on it. It drives super smooth, nice gear box, no problems yet on any front except the reverse gear being hard to throw into the first 5 months - but now its behaving fine. Excellent interior space utilization by honda. 30 MPG with aggressive driving on city+highway. best acceleration when you keep revs at 3000-4500 rpm. Second gear acceleration is sluggish. Third and 4th gears are the best and you would not really feel the need for the fifth gear. Smooth cruising. this car certainly has the best acceleration you can get from a 4 cyl 160 HP engine. A great, economic all round car for anyone. Strongly recommend

3 years review - 2003 Honda Accord
By cxvargas - June 14 - 11:13 amDealer took care of two recalls, machined rotors-replaced front pads and reverse condition re-program computer, no big issues. Paint chips easily, the drivers window fails to go up or down during cold weather and the check engine light is on. All fluids are fine and with 47k miles maintenance is not due until the 50k. The wife decided to have the 50k maintenance done early to check the p/w and the engine light. Im starting to lose confidence on this car and that is a pity because the wife is happy and is really comfortable and superior to the domesticÂ’s offerings. Im not sure if I will buy Honda again based on my recent experience. Lets see.

This is a GREAT car!! - 2013 Honda Accord
By MB SKANDALAKIS - June 14 - 4:23 amI LOVE this car so much!! Its so fun to drive, and itll totally fly! But, due to an unexpected influx of grandchildren, I have to switch to a car with 4 doors. My 51-yr-old self cannot get them in and out of the car without major discomfort. Switching to a Honda CR-V.
