Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Love it, would own one again and again! - 2002 Honda Accord

Im a die-hard fan of Honda cars, Ive own several of them and none has ever given me any reason for a major complaint. My current 02 EX V6 coupe is no exception. It is reliable, fun to drive, stylish, comfortable, affordable for all that it has to offer. Although it is an Accord, this coupe body style is not "bland" at all. It is unique and rarely can be seen on the road. While the combined average mileage of 25-26 miles/gallon isnt excellent, the V6 gives exceptional power to the drive. Keep up the oil changes and the engine will never fail. Excellent value for the price, exceptional car for its class.

  • You should get ONE !!!! - 2005 Honda Accord

Im 20 yrs old and this is my first car .. and Im glad its my first.I have a 4dr honda accord EX. I love the driving experience it gets good gas mileage , and I have yet to have any problems with it. If I had the option to purchase another car I would probly stick with Honda and purchase the Pilot. I feel that Hondas are a safe and reliable car and I am a proud owner !

  • Unbeatable reliability - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car new in January of 1999. In that time Ive only done scheduled maintenance except for replacing the battery. 100% reliable transportation, everything works just like it did the day I drove it off the lot. Its not the most powerful or sporty car on the road and the newer models get better fuel economy but Honda has proven to me that they build reliable vehicles.

  • 3rd one, still keeps me happy - 2002 Honda Accord

Racked up 90+ thousand miles on my 98 when I was stupid enough to trade it for an SUV. Missed my car the whole time I was driving the SUV. Missed the handling, the sporty feel and most of all the 30+ mpg. I recommend this to anyone. Had a 97 that was traded for a CR-V which was also a great car (just not good in N.E. winters) so I recently bought my 02 EX. Ive got almost 10,000 miles on it now and I have no doubt Ill be seeing another 0 at the end of that number in a few years. These things need nothing but oil chgs, brakes and tires to achieve 6 figure milage. Excellent!!!

  • Counting down to trade-in - 2008 Honda Accord

This car is full of annoyances. Front seats are very uncomfortable. V6 VCM is a joke, 270HP feel more like 200, fuel economy is terrible and I can feel the car hesitate every time the VCM turns cylinders on/off. "Premium" stereo sounds mediocre at best, the average rental car has a better sounding system. Squeaks and rattles near the rear deck, sunroof, center console, passenger seat. Driver door exterior handle sticks. Constant road noise. No memory seats, no trip computer, can only display outside temp with trip odometer. Not what I would have expected from the EX-L. This will be my last Honda.

  • Coming back to Honda - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

After 17 years, I am coming back to Honda. Had a 1983 Accord for 7 years and was superb. I think that the car is great, but road noise is very disturbing, considering the prestige and class of this car. Fuel economy is great, compared to the gas guzzler Kia Amanti V6 just traded in. Do not have the opportunity to hear the XM Radio, because the satellite signal cant reach Puerto Rico, but the outside antenna gives class to the car. At the beginning had problems with the seat, but got used to them.

My car has had zero problems from day one. I do the oil changes at the dealership, and every other time I rotate tires. I do all the maintenance check ups, and thatÂ’s it! A wonderful car!

Hi everyone. Just got rid of my 04 accord ex with 79k miles. Wow! Low miles? You may ask why I sold it. These cars are bullet proof right? Im sure they are but not mine. I bought the car 7 months ago with 71k miles on it. I came from a toyota yaris so this was a huge step! I decided to go for the other most reliable Japanese cars. Little did I know I was making a mistake. First off car had an issue serving to the right. Showed 4 mechanics (professionals) and no one knew what was wrong. Secondly the most devasting thing was that the engine oil burned in ridiculous amounts. Which meant for a new engine. 3000 bucks?? No way! I cant afford that. Got rid of it and now Im car less. Great.. anyways the steering is extremely stiff. Great for highways but not so good on parking lots and city. I could not get use to the steering. Kind of sad because I thought I would drive this car into the sunset. Oh well. Next car will be toyota since I had experience with my last one.hope this helps . Forgot to mention. For some reason my accord was gas guzzling. 25 highway and like 14 city. Insane number for a 2.4l. Sad.
