Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Superb for the Money! - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

This is our 3rd Honda Accord weve owned. Our last, a 2005 Honda Accord EX-L V6 where we were T-Boned by a drunk driver going 50 mph protected our family very well. We were very impressed with how well the car protected us. Accident safety aside, this is a superb car for the money. We got the EX V6 with leather, no navigation and were very impressed with the ride, amenities, performance, and fuel economy. Our friends have an Acura TL-though a wonderful automobile, offers similar sound deadening as our Accord. We didnt need HID lamps, or other "creature" comforts. So if youre looking for a safe, well built, comfortable car, check out the Honda Accord!

  • Love my Honda - 1993 Honda Accord

My wonderful boss who just bought a new Civic EX coupe was sweet enough to pass on his all stock 93 Accord EX Coupe to me for free when he found out I needed a set of wheels. It had only 82,000 miles at the time and in mint conditon with the exception of a dent in the drivers fender. The rear spoiler and alloy wheels really brings out the sporty look of this car. I get a lot of compliments especially from women where ever i go. I even get people asking me if I want to sell her. This car starts up everytime and runs extremely smooth and tight expecially on the highway. Getting 23/27 mpg avg with A/C on. I will not part with her and plan on driving it for another 200,000 + miles. -)

  • Honda is reliable! - 2014 Honda Accord

Great car, love most of it

  • 90,000 Miles - 2008 Honda Accord

Just turned 90K and still pleased. 2nd set of tires 3 weeks ago. If purchasing tires, buy same speed rating as original. 90% interstate driving is returning 32-34 MPG. Oil change by Maintenance Minder averaging 10K intervals. No issues and will probably drive to 200K. Brake pads front and rear once to date.

  • Happy Honda owner - 1998 Honda Accord

Love my Accord and will probably have more. But, the check engine light has been a nuisance. And, I was shocked to need a $2,700 new transmission at 143,000! Had EGR problems (at 31k, 71k, and 105k) which were under warranty an evaporative system failure (at 54k) repaired for a small fee and a new catalytic converter and something about the transmission (at 131k) for a heftier fee. When the transmission failed, I talked to American Honda about my disappointment in the reliability that I had so confidently bought into. Honda agreed to provide a new transmission for free, and I paid the $855 labor charge. This was fair in my opinion, and IÂ’m back to being happy Honda owner.

  • Honda Coupe - 2003 Honda Accord

Excellent get up and go with the 240 horse v-6. Much less enterior noise than previous models. Handles well and a comfortable ride all around. Smooth, clean edges and easy to maintain (wash, wax, etc.) Has a surprisingly adequate trunk space and very roomy front cabin. Back is a little tight in the coupe but looks sharp with leather interior. Excellent sound system and 6-disc CD. The gold decal package on the black pearl model lookjs very classy. So far, very happy with this automobile.

  • Great Car - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

I am a mom of two small children. This is a great car for gas mileage, hauling my kids to birthday parties, etc. and I have been a Honda owner since 1994 so I am a firm believer in Hondas. They have never let me down, been very dependable, almost NO maintance at all. But this car has a 4 cylinder engine and it is not a very "fun" car to drive. But it is a great car and we have had no trouble with it at all. Highly recommend.

  • Overall a big plus with a few nits - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Reading the reviews has me puzzled; either people love the car or hate it. Honda always made cars that were more sporty than American cars and Camry. Had a 1994 Honda Accord with almost 120,000 miles on it and will miss it. Overall the car is great: more room, more power, just as sporty as always (firm seats/ride).

  • Does what I bought it for - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

I traded my nice Audi for this car because I wanted a car I could rack up a lot miles on it worry-free. I wanted something reliable, fuel-efficient yet retain a certain level of fun-to-drive factor. The V6 packs a respectable punch and gets pretty good mileage for its size (comparable to the 4 cylinder Audi it replaced actually). Even though fuel efficiency was one of my objectives, a V6 typically doesnt fit that description. However, the 3.0L V6 provides a good balance of performance and economy. The suspension is too soft to be considered sporty and the tires arent much help either. Im satisfied with the car. Its serving the main purpose I bought it for, even exceeding in some.

  • I hear imports were suppose to be better - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

Always heard honda, toyota etc... were suppose to be so much better than chevy, ford, dodge etc... I must say I dont really find that to be true. The V-6 Accord is a nice car, dont get me wrong, however I dont find it to be SO much better than the chevys or pontiacs I have had. Thanks but no thanks, next time ill save a few thousand and buy another Chevy.
