Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I expected better - 2002 Honda Accord
By Yuckcord - July 27 - 2:00 amWhen you first start the car after it has set a while it has loud engine noise,The dealership told me it is normal. Constantly adjust stering on highway. When windy you are all over the road. Seat springs made noise so they adjusted and lubed them now noise is back. Compartment door under radio broke, The idle jumps up and down sometimes, no bulletins and no codes The heater and air conditioner suddenly slow way down sometimes, The car turns over quite a bit before starting in cold weather, The fit and finish is nothing like they claim. The gas mileage is not that good. Now the brake pedal is starting to make a noise.

Nice car, really - 2010 Honda Accord
By tc83 - July 25 - 9:06 pmPurchased the crystal black pearl with black leather. First time Honda owner, its such an attractive coupe for a single guy with performance, style, comfort, fun, reasonable economy. Love the looks in/out, power, handling, just overall feeling of the vehicle. Negative parts, the rear brakes started to squeal even before 1k and hearing interior rattle noises. Dealers going to sand down and buff the brakes to fix the noise but thats all they can do for the issue. This is a very common issue with 2008 and up Accords, Honda did find out about the issue but yet to come up with a solution, see what happens. VCM works fine, it doesnt bather me. Really love the strong, smooth 3.5L V6 engine.

Driving Experience - 2009 Honda Accord
By WjBarnes - July 25 - 3:36 pmThis Honda Accord is a very nice automobile overall; however, I find there is above average road noise. The front beverage holders are not able to hold two small coffees since one of the holders is deep .

A good, decent car! - 2016 Honda Accord
By Bob Aldridge - July 24 - 11:12 pmThis is my second Honda Accord. First one was a 2001. Very pleased with that car. I got this one because I wanted Apple CarPlay (love it), V6 and leather. Overall I like the car, its an accord, pretty standard vehicle, you cant go wrong. Three dis-appointments: 1) The leather is a cheap leather, not like I had in the 2001. Feels like plastic. 2) There is no change box (strange I thought all cars had a place for change), 3) There is not quick way to mute the stereo, you have to press two buttons. Pain to do when your driving. Other than those things its a great car.

THE best car ever... - 2009 Honda Accord
By jack - July 23 - 7:03 pmI have had 6 Mercedes and 6 Hondas, this is the best of all. Firm, comfortable seating and great economy, 24.8 to 29.4 mpg during the 13,500 miles I have put on the car in 5 months. Cylinder deactivation is flawless. There have been no maint. or repair issues at all. A perfect car! Very spacious vehicle for pax and cargo. Memo to Honda... integrate grab handles into the A-pillars, use a manumatic trans, a fuel mileage readout would be nice in this class of car,a sixth gear or lower ratio for fifth gear for better highway mileage, and memory seats would be nice. This is a great and almost perfect vehicle. Buy and enjoy.

Nothing but problems - 2005 Honda Accord
By Steve - July 23 - 8:46 amI bought my Accord Hybrid 10 days ago. On the 4th day the engine light came on and the engine started to rattle and smoke. After the dealership looked over the car, I was told that is was a software issue. The car still does not run correctly. Today, while on the freeway, the right rear tire exploded. To my suprise, there isnt a spare in the trunk. After being towed to the dealership, they said they do not carry the tires and I would have wait a day or two for a replacement. They will not fix the engine, give me a spare, nor replace the vehicle.

Bought New - 1998 Honda Accord
By arthur - July 23 - 12:10 amHad this car since new, now that they are older this car is not as comfortable or as quiet as the Camry, also had to repair this car more than the Toyota, great styling in and out but needs better reliability, also both service and parts cost more. I guess thats why the resale value is better than the Camry, owners have to spend more maintaining this car.

My review - 1999 Honda Accord
By canddmeyer - July 22 - 10:00 amFantastic. Two minor complaints otherwise its perfect. When Honda makes a full-sive SUV or pickup as good as the Accord, domestics are in more trouble. Will definitely buy another (wife insists).
