Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

A Dream - 2003 Honda Accord
By wnas - August 10 - 10:00 amIf any of you all are doing research for your next car, look no further. This car has it all. Engine power, agility, quiet cabin, plenty of room, terrific speakers, and tremendous acceleration. In short, an absolute dream. Why pay twice as much for a BMW 3 series when you have it all with this one.

Amazing Value - 2004 Honda Accord
By almassengale - August 10 - 10:00 amJust got the car this week to replace a Volvo with 197k on it. Amazing machine. It drives like an Audi. Great steering. Ride that soaks up bumps. Strong engine. Well designed interior. Within two miles I felt like I had been driving it for years. Everything makes sense. I think some of the complaints on this car are foolish. Who cares if a mercury has auto-on headlights or doors that lock themselves? Pointless features and mourning their absence makes you forget whats important. The driving experence and thats what the accord has.

Best for sport,reliability,practicality - 2004 Honda Accord
By jerms - August 10 - 10:00 amI originally considered a BMW, but got scared away by claims of problems some were having. For the price of this car, you got yourself something very reliable, very fast, very practical, fun to drive and even a little luxurious! This car accelerates like mad without making a sound. It has such tight suspension and hardly any body roll for taking those curves fast. The factory wheels and tires look great. This really is a wolf in sheeps clothing. You dont need a fancy hood emblem. This car performs like "one of those" but is much more reliable, and holds its value about as well, too.

I Miss Her - 1996 Honda Accord
By Donna - August 10 - 3:55 amBought my 96 brand new and never regretted it. In over 145K miles, only needed to replace alternator and plug wires. This car never failed to start, the fit and finish was excellent, and it was a solid, well built car. Some idiot decided to steal it, so I no longer have one, but I just wanted to let everyone know what a great car they are. Have not done the research, but I hope that the new ones have kept all the quality features of my 96.

Honda Accord Review - 2001 Honda Accord
By dbrut1 - August 10 - 2:00 amHad trouble with automatic transmission at 24,000 miles. Honda America replaced it completely and extended the transmission warranty from 3 years or 36,000 miles to 7 years or 100,000 miles! I am very pleased with the car.

Disappointed! - 2009 Honda Accord
By G3 - August 9 - 7:00 amWhere to start: 1)Have had the car into the dealership three times for squeaking breaks, told nothing can be done, issue with pads at Honda 2)Road noise is horrible, coming from rear wheel wells, told there are vents? 3) When I lose reception on the satellite radio I have to turn the car off, then on again to get the signal back 4)The vehicle rattles a lot. This is my third Honda, I had a 97 Prelude and a 03 Odyssey, no problems, but this one has been a big disappointment! Looked at the BMW 335i and Infiniti G37, thought I was saving money, instead I got a lot of headaches!

2004 Accord LX Rocks - 2004 Honda Accord
By Jack - August 9 - 2:16 amGreat navigation system, its what you see advertised now on the Acura TL. Fun to drive and to talk to! Fast off the line and great on the highway. Ive been getting about 24 mpg on average with the V6. Everyone who has driven in my car has had very nice things to say about it and are floored by all of the "toys."

Not as good as I though... - 2001 Honda Accord
By infinifrog - August 8 - 10:00 amAt its 7,000 miles, the car refused to start, and the dealer said it is normal... it happened again for a couple of times until I traded it in for a Nissan Pathfinder after 15 months The VTEC V6 engine is good... very powerful and smooth...but style is just so-so and interior looks cheap... the leather seats just look like plastic...the painting is horrible...I can even scratch the bumper with my nails...
