Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Sensing Package is NOT worth the money - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

I WISH I had test driven this model with the sensing package for a longer period of time before buying. I own that, its my fault. BUT, word to the wise. If you use your cruise control a lot, like I do, DO NOT get the sensing package. Unless there is some way to turn off the crash mitigation control for Cruise Control, which I have not found yet, then I would never never never buy this package. With Cruise Control, the driver can specify three separate distances in front of you for the space between you and they next car, but you cannot turn the "distance" meter Off completely, and THIS sucks! Say youre cruising along at 80 in the left hand lane of a wide open freeway, and the car in the right lane in front of you decides to pull into your lane 4-5 car lengths ahead of you. Even with the shortest of "distance" meter available to you in the sensing package, that car which pulled into your lane waaaayyy the heck up there will cause YOUR car to slam on its breaks. A car pulled in front of me this morning and immediately began accelerating, however, the second my car sensed it moving into my lane, it began to brake, and HARD brake! The car behind me almost rear-ended me because my car braked all by itself and without warning. Do not confuse this with the regular "crash mitigation" option, which DOES have a button to turn it off. I am speaking specifically on the Cruise Control crash mitigation control, which so far, I have not been able to figure out how to turn it off. And it sucks!

Easy to modify for street racing. Given tools, money, and a little time you can transform this car into the car of your dreams.

  • Why bother with an Acura? - 2007 Honda Accord

I bought my coupe after looking at the Acura TSX and the TL and Im glad I saved my money and went with the Honda. It drives like a dream and the engine has all the power I need not to mention it takes regular unleaded.

  • Excellent Coupe! - 2002 Honda Accord

Since I already own 2 Accord Sedans, a 1993 and a 1999, I thought I would go a different route and go with the Accord Coupe. I really like how Honda has given the coupe its own look, and the look is very nice. The back lights remind me of the Acura NSX and the overall design looks a lot sportier than its sedan brother. The interior design is pretty much the same as the sedan but it is very functional and not confusing at all. Back seat room is pretty good for a coupe, and the ride and drive is smooth and not underpowered. Overall, great car with good looks, good space, and good power for a 4 cylinder.

  • Honda 2005 - 2005 Honda Accord

I had always been a Ford Mustang GT (fun and sporty) driver, until I decided to try something completely different. I purchased my 2005 vehicle in December of 2004, and couldnt be more pleased. The car is so smooth, Im speeding before I realize it! Its classy and elegant, but also sporty! There are so many more details to the car, then I could even start to explain. I highly recommend!

  • 7th Honda and still going strong - 2005 Honda Accord

A pure pleasure to drive. Great handling and brakes. Interior is much improved over 2002. Acceleration also much improved over 2002 and the entire drivetrain is silky smooth.

  • Beautiful, reliable, fast - 2004 Honda Accord

We are the 2nd owner of this 4cyl Accord EX and after 48k miles we have zero mechanical problems. The only minor things I could complain about is an occasional rattling sound coming from the drivers side front door pillar, and a little cracking on the leather seats. Other than that, the car is flawless.

  • My Honda was awesome! - 1991 Honda Accord

My Honda Accord was the best car I ever owned! I drive an average of over 100 miles a day and only had to fill the beauty up once every 2 weeks! This car would leave other cars in the dust. At 90mph the tach was barely hitting 3k! I finally sold it to a gal with her permit when the odomiter hit 230k. I really really miss it, but know that it is a great car for a kid to learn how to drive in. Very reliable, safe in the snow, and just overall fun to drive.

  • I love my Honda - 1999 Honda Accord

I have owned this car for almost two years. It is a fantastic car in every sense. The pickup on this v-6 is outstanding and it has great vision from the drivers perspective as I am short and have had problems with other vechicles I have owned or rented. I give it a two thumbs up in every respect.

Compared to my 2001, the car has significantly more rattles and road noise - the sound deading material seems non-existant.
