Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Wonderful Car and Easy Buy! - 2016 Honda Accord
By Jessica Stratton - September 27 - 4:47 pmBest purchase I have ever made. My husband and I just moved to Columbus and were so nervous about buying a car. We did some shopping around at dealers and always came out feeling completely ripped off. Then we tried using Edmunds price promise. Best choice! We selected the car we wanted and then just found a dealer near us. Asked all of the dealers near us for quotes and then went and got it! Saved thousands through Edmunds and we are differentially going to use it when we have to buy our next car. :) As for the car...its a Honda. Great ride, great placement of controls, looks so cool driving :) Also crazy adjustable. I am 5 foot and my husband is over 6 feet and we both are able to fit in the car perfectly! I am completely thrilled with my buy still months later and dont see that changing soon.

No more warm and fuzzies - 2001 Honda Accord
By lmf - September 27 - 2:00 am2001 Accord isnt up to snuff. Transmission problem after 64000 miles. Dealer says bad transmissions in 2000, 2001, and 2002 models. Warranty extended because of the problem. Remanufactured tranny put in yesterday, only to arrive at dealer for pick up to be told the "new" tranny is faulty too. Told 1 out of 6 Honda transmissions fail. Also had problem with oil pan recall. Needed breaks at 55,000, other repairs too soon in the life of the car. Could have bought a clunker with no loan and brought it for in for same amount of repairs. Ive lost the warm and fuzzies I had for Honda and my Accord specifically.

Another Honda - 2004 Honda Accord
By Lexington Linda - September 27 - 2:00 amAfter driving around 7 different cars we ended up with another Honda. This time we bought an Accord EX. My husband and I were both surprised on the "extras" that came standard on this car. He was looking for leather and I wanted the sunroof. We were also surprised with the amount of legroom you have in the back seat. We were looking for something sporty, but had to go with the 4 door due to having a son. I think the 4 door still looks sporty. My last car was an Accord also and we never had any trouble. We are hoping that Honda continues to have the reliablity we have come to expect.

Wolf in sheeps clothing - 2004 Honda Accord
By Don Geeze - September 27 - 2:00 amThis is not an Accord--its a Prelude on steroids! As fast as my Vette, and a lot more fun to drive. Beautiful Honda engineering under the hood. Ergonomics OK--radio controls a little odd. Already has rattle in headliner. Interior features not as good as Camry Solara, but close. Ride far stiffer than any Honda Ive ever driven, but comfortable enough, and stiff suspension translates into incredible cornering. Also very practical--roomy and gets good gas mileage.

good value - 2004 Honda Accord
By physics teacher - September 27 - 2:00 amAfter almost a year of research I settled on the Accord EX-V6. I drove the I-30, ES300, Camry XLE, Avalon XLS, and Maxima. The Accord was the best value for me. I like it better every day. The high horsepower, regular fuel, the fuel economy, and low emissions capped it for me. Along with wanting to support Honda for having the most fuel efficient car line. I have had two minor defects, a bad weld that buzzed at certain RPMs and a bad CD case door. Both were fixed quickly and the dealer was very professional. I love the interior comfort and controls, very ergonomic.

By aznpnoi - September 27 - 2:00 amThe brakes feels and sounds likes its grinding even after 5-10 minutes after you warm it up. The dealer ship technician says its normal but its way feels and sounds different compared to other cars especially its a 2003 car. and the dealership wanted me to pay $80.00 for them to check it out completely.
