Overview & Reviews
Honda takes a bold leap for 2005 with the introduction of the Hybrid Accord. Rather than add a hybrid motor to its four-cylinder, Honda bolts its third-generation IMA system to the Accord's already-potent V6. In one fell swoop the Accord hybrid has become the class leader in fuel economy (30 city, 38 highway) and power (255 horsepower). Other changes for the 2005 Honda Accord this year include new wheel cover designs for the LX and EX trims, a new coin pocket design, illuminated steering wheel controls and improved rear styling in sedans with redesigned taillamps. In addition, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags are now available on all trim levels all the way down to the base DX model.

No comparison - 2005 Honda Accord
By Jack - January 22 - 5:06 amI have purchased a 2004 Accord EX V6 also and based on my satisfaction with the 04 decided that for the money the 05, which I bought for my wife, was the best choice over all its competitors. From a reliability and resale point of view this car has no comparison. I have been a loyal Honda/Acura driver for many years. After looking at the competition its hard to be convinced theres a better choice. Smooth quiet ride at all speeds. Cruises effortlessly at 80 MPH.

2005 Honda Accord EX-L Duffs - 2005 Honda Accord
By Duff Evans - January 13 - 2:43 pmThe automobile Industry should follow in the foot steps of the Honda. They have it all together and the others should take notice and build a masterpiece like the Honda Motor Car Division has. In my own words the best most safe and solid car on the road today and that is not exaggerating at all. Driving this car everyday gives me a safe feeling that I know I am going to see my family at the end of my day. Thanks for building such a great Automobile Honda :p)

Best so far! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Charles P - December 30 - 2:23 amAll the inside of the car works great. Controls are easy to read and love the climate control. I must say the 4 has all the horse. The car key was big in the hand at first, But it does some great things, Door and trunk opener. Another Great option on keys you can hold open button on for 3-4 sec and all 4 windows open. Nice leather seats, like the feel.

Great Vehicle!!! - 2005 Honda Accord
By J.A. - December 19 - 9:23 pmThe EX V6 4dr sedan provides great comfort, performance and value in gasusage. It is a sleek, powerful vehicle that hugs the road and seems to minimize bumps. Handling, speed to merge/pass and noise are just a few factors where this auto excels. This car will take you there faster, quieter and smoother and so much so that one needs to either set the cruise control or keep a close eye on the speedometer as you will get ticketed by unknowingly speeding!

Rock-Solid - 2005 Honda Accord
By W Robinson - December 13 - 10:23 pmFirst-time Honda owner. Have had it about a month now and am very pleased. Absolutely no squeaks or rattles and no evidence whatsoever of poor quality. Everything is obviously well built. The 5- speed manual is fun to drive. Very comfortable seats (leather has lumbar support -- a big plus). Great gas mileage as well (averaging 30 MPG even with a lot of city driving).

Great Car for the money! - 2005 Honda Accord
By R S. Scott - December 8 - 3:50 pmThis is my 3rd Honda Accord I previously had 1994 EXL and a 2001 EXL...I had to save money so I went with the 2005 LX 5 Speed, and had to have it ordered, as there are very few 5 speed LX. I would like to see interior color choices increased. I would like to see a silver car, with grey (leather) and grey interior offered. If honda does not offer that, they are going to loose a faithful Honda customer to Toyota, as you can custom select your leather choice! Honda has also stepped back from the 2001 to the 2005 in the interior of the car. I was not pleased with the hand rest on the 2005. Also on the EXL they do not have leather trim in the back! The preformance of the 2005 is GREAT!!!

Honda Accord LX sedan 4cyl - 2005 Honda Accord
By persian king of USA - December 4 - 6:43 pmI bought the silver with black interior because brown is easier to see dirt on. Manual is fun to drive, has great hp for a 4 banger. Looks clean when fixed up (wheels, lowered 1.2", tint, exhaust) I saw one and i was amazed! Great mileage, great interior. One thing that bugs me is the stereo speakers are not that good quality, and I like the 04 lights in the back better than the 05. 1st gear is a bit sluggish and stereo head unit is a pain to change/convert. If you keep it stock, its great! My first Honda and I love it.

Accords are the luxury cars of low price - 2005 Honda Accord
By Danny Dannels - November 30 - 2:26 pmI am totally satisfied with my 2 accords. The accords are the best price and you seem to have a luxury car. They have both power and good looks. We love the leather and the roominess of the cars. I feel Honda is selling the car too low for how well they handle and look. What else can I say except we love our Hondas
