Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Awesome Ride - 2006 Honda Accord
By Chuck Wagon - October 30 - 10:36 pmI just bought the SE about a week ago. I love the way it handles. It is my first Accord and I love it. I would not go back to any other car. I traded in my Jetta for this Accord, and tell you what, its like a HUGE upgrade. Sure I miss the heated mirrors that I had on Jetta and the sunroof. But I will settle for an Accord without them.

Lovin my Honda - 2007 Honda Accord
By TypicalHonda - October 30 - 10:26 amEverything you expect in a Honda and more. Great options for the $. Living up to its reputation. Mileage estimates are accurate. 4cyl outperforms the 4cyl Camry. Very sharp looking.

All teard up! - 1998 Honda Accord
By bug4 - October 29 - 3:52 pmWell, Im not in tears, but, after 10 faithful years, I handed over my 98 LX Accord last month for a new 08 EX-L Accord. In 10 years of service and 150,000 miles, I had not one mechanical problem or breakdown! 3 sets of tires, regular maintenance and one set of struts was the extent of this cars "care." I never even had to replace the brake pads! It was getting 31 mpg and not burning a drop of oil when I let her go. Makes me wonder why I traded it in, or not. My new Accord is sweet!

arthritic car - 2004 Honda Accord
By wils - October 29 - 10:00 amgood car but has arthritis. left front door creaks, ceiling creaks, rt back speaker rumbles, and at 10,000 miles, the clutch pedal creaks with crepitus and a creaking noise from rt rear seat around trunk creaks. otherwise, car runs great, excellent mileage, comfortable seats, great ergonomics, good a/c, maybe the assemblers had a hangover when they assembled my car! hopefully dealer will address these issues, still will buy another honda.

Amazing car! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Jim - October 29 - 4:00 amI have had my Belize Blue 2008 Accord Coupe V6 6-speed with navigation for nearly 3 weeks. All I can say - what an amazing car! Nothing but excellent ratings (except for gas milage, which should improve as the car breaks in). The Accord couple is great fun to drive, especially with the 6-speed manual transmission. If this car was any faster, it would be scary! I traded a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS V6 5-speed manual, and there is no comparison. I would highly recommend this car to anyone - and if you like to drive a "sports car", get the V6 6- speed. Navigation system and Bluetooth are very functional. I have received many compliments from strangers on my Accord!

Excellant Sedan For The Money - 2009 Honda Accord
By ge54 - October 28 - 4:00 pmThere is a lot to like and little to dislike about this car. Interior design, exterior design and build quality are excellent. The engine has adequate power, the dash layout is great - backlit instruments, user- friendly A/C and radio controls (no problem with the button stack layout) and plenty of bins and cup holders. The seats are a bit firm but not uncomfortable around town, still waiting to take a long trip. Road noise is higher than my previous Camry but not bad enough for a big complaint. Gas mileage so far is 22 city which should improve over time. Excellent handling. Got the car for invoice, including dealer add-ons, plus an additional $1000 discount. Excellent dealer relationship.

Excellent Car!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Pleasant - October 27 - 11:20 pmI am a previous Acura TSX owner. Before that I had an 04 Honda accord coupe. I just knew when I got my TSX I was never going to get another Honda again, until i saw the 08 Accord coupe. Got it 11/07. I totally love it!! The new body style is off the hook!! I catch people looking to see what kind of car it is all the time. I had the chrome door handles installed to give it an extra kick as I did not want to pay the extra for the V-6. The inside is much bigger than the 04 coupe and the TSX. Totally stands out. Cant wait until the summer time to let the windows down and open the moonroof!! I love my new coupe!!!

Sporty and SAFE! - 2001 Honda Accord
By cyndi80 - October 25 - 12:49 pmI was in a major accident in my 01 Accord coupe in July 07. Someone ran a stop sign and plowed into me going about 30 miles/hr. Although the car was totaled, I walked away without a scratch and did not even have soreness or a headache the next day! In all honesty, I did not buy the car for anything other than fun and sportiness. I am so glad I did though. I am convinced I would have been hurt in another car (the other driver was non-seriously injured). I felt so safe and good about my car, I went out and bought a new Accord, and refused to look at anything else! What a great car.

97 SE accord - 1997 Honda Accord
By SeattleGirl - October 25 - 11:53 amI purchased this car with 55,000 miles on it in Nov 00. I now have 140,000 and its still going. Do regular oil changes and maintenance. The dealer tells me the oilpan has slight leak, which I wont pay to repair and they say I might never need to repair (pricey fix, like about $1000). Slow window motors, weak AC, great gas mileage, reliable car that looks good too. Ill drive it until it dies, which I hope isnt before 200,000 miles. It is my daily driver to work, Id love to get a new one but cant see getting rid of such a great car. It was worth the $14,000 paid 7 years ago.
