Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • THE BLACK STALLION - 2002 Honda Accord

THIS IS THE FIRST HONDA THAT IM PURCHASING. IVE HEARD A LOT (FROM PREVIOUS OWNERS) ABOUT HOW HONDAS ARE GOOD CARS AND THEY DO NOT GIVE ALOT OF PROBLEMS. I THINK THESE CARS ARE VERY SHARP AND SPORTY.

  • Very Pleasant Purchase - 2002 Honda Accord

Ive had the car for about 3 months and put on about 3,000 miles, including one out-of-state trip. Car drives and handles very well, providing great comfort. The only disappointment is the mileage: about 20mpg vs the 26 that I had expected. Otherwise, Im extremely satisfied with the car.

  • Great sporty coupe!!! - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

This is a great sporty coupe that looks great, drives great and even smeels great. I bought this car about 3 weeks ago and I am very happy with my decision. I have averaged 27 mpg so far. It drives great and with the 5 speed it is really fun to drive. If you dont need a sunroof, cd changer, and powerseats go with the LX! Cheaper and better resale value!!!

  • Bad seat - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

It is fun to drive and all, the exterior look is fine but the inside is very basic and the seat are owful and very very uncomfortable especially during long drive, even my old accord 92 was better.

  • Terrible gas mileage - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Dont buy this car if you want good gas mileage. I have a V-6 with Variable Cylinder Management which is supposed to let the car run on 3,4 or 6 cylinders, as needed, to improve mileage. I make a point of running in the "ECO" mode (which is cars indicator of using <6 cylinders) more often than not and drive 1/2 freeway without stop-n-go traffic, and 1/2 city on each tank - I only get 20 mpg. My BMW 530i got better mileage.

  • Back to my roots... - 2004 Honda Accord

My wife and I looked for a $30K sedan. We are both professionals and felt we deserved something special. We looked at Volvo S60, Mercedes C230, Infiniti G35, and even the pre-optioned BMW 325. We drove by a Honda dealer and thought wed just run in. We had both had Hondas in college and thought they were well mannered and reliable. Boy, things have changed. This is a bargain luxury car with all the features, including full power, alloys, ABS, 6- airbags, leather, 120W 6-disc CD stereo, heated seats, etc. Offered invoice price and the deal was signed. The 160HP 4-cyl handles wonderfully with the manual, with a 0-60 time around 7.7 sec. A very nice car.
