Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

just ok - 2002 Honda Accord
By finl0474 - November 26 - 10:00 amthis is my 5th honda since 1988, and my fourth accord. I also had a 2000 civic si. hondas are not reliable. the 88 never had any unexpected mechanical or electrical failures. my 94 and 2000 accords were mechanical and electrical nightmares within the first year. 2002 v6 ex coupe is already experiencing electrical problems and gas mileage is below the estimate, it only has 16000 miles on it. the v6 is not as powerful as it should be. but the automatic transmission is less than an adequate performer. I would rather have this car in a 5 or 6 speed manual, which was impossible to find. there are also a number of blind spots in the car.

Nice car! - 2003 Honda Accord
By illeggs - November 26 - 10:00 amThis is my second accord after having a Camry in between. Was surprised to see the simulated walnut finish in a non- luxury vehicle. Great handling and nice acceleration for a 4 Cylinder.

Great buy - 2004 Honda Accord
By gcabral424 - November 25 - 10:34 pmIm a proud owner of 2004 Honda Accord LX. To date I have put over 50,000 miles and havent had a single problem. I regularly do the maintance thats recommended and thats all. I love everything about the accord. The power, comfort, and gas mileage are awesome. The 4 cylinder although small has plenty of power and never lets me down. The only complaint I had with the car was the handling. Recently I purchased new tires 225 40 18 and the handling has greatly improved. I always knew that the small stock tires that the dealer provided was not enough rubber. Bottom line: great car!

My Honda Wagon - 1991 Honda Accord
By Walter - November 25 - 8:26 pmThis is an outstanding vehicle, I have 199,657 miles on this vehicle. It always accelerated well taking off and when I needed to pick up speed. I drive it to work 5 days some times 6 days a week. Never had any major mechanical work done. I plan to drive it for another 100,000 miles or have it overhaul if it is ever needed.

Quietist Honda Ever - 2005 Honda Accord
By TheGraduate - November 25 - 3:13 pmI have never owned a quieter car, and I have had 15 of them in the last 25 years. It has plenty of power, gets 28 mpg in rush hour traffic, has room for my family, which includes two men over 63", and all the features I could ever want. It was the best $22,000 we could have spent.

Best buy ever - 2008 Honda Accord
By JAPEREZ - November 25 - 1:43 amI just bought this 08 Accord and I love this car. I had an 03 Civic and I am glad that I updated to the Accord. The features on this thing is excellent (nav, XM, mp3, dvd, bluetooth and great sound system) so dont test drive this car unless you want to buy it because you will fall in love.

Great car; no regrets so far - 2006 Honda Accord
By bluecoat4 - November 24 - 9:00 pmIve had my 06 Accord SE for about 3 weeks. Overall Im very pleased with the car. The 4 cyclinder for the most part provides enough power. Youll notice a little sluggishness with the AC running. I love the interior. The look is clean and well thought out. The dash illumination is crisp and clear. No gaudy color combinations or cluttering displays. The ride is a little stiff, but smooth and responsive. You may notice a little road noise, however, I didnt feel it was as pronouced as I was lead to believe. Complaints.. glove box doesnt appear to line up with its surroundings, trunk feels extremely cheap. If youre looking at a basic 4 cyl EX check out the SE, youll save a little money.
