Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Report on My Honda Accord - 2000 Honda Accord
By jjmax - December 27 - 2:00 amMy Accord, 4 dr EX has been a good car for me. A few things have happened that were negatives. The transmission went out on Dec. 24, 2002 at 51,000. Fortunately, Honda had just sent me a note saying that they were extending the warranty from 50,000 to 100,000 so the transmission was replaced at no cost to me. I was in a state of shock because I have believed that Honda was the best. Also, I do not like the set up for drink holders and my wife dislikes the deep glove compartment she cannot see into. But, I would buy another Honda--but it will be a stick shift. Im through with automatic transmissions! I think Ill try a Civic.

nice and economical - 2005 Honda Accord
By Adam - December 26 - 7:36 pmHave had the car for about a month now. Seats are comfortable and the dual temp control is a nice feature. XM radio is a great addition. For the difference in price between leather seats or cloth seats, and all the extra goodies you get with leather seats, cant imagine why anyone would get an EX without leather. I get about 29 MPG with 1500 miles on the engine. The car accelerates adequately and is quiet at highway speeds. Suspension is a bit stiff, but is acceptable. This car is very easy to start and shift. Would be a great car to learn stick shift on.

4-cyl with a kick - 2009 Honda Accord
By Vic - December 26 - 5:06 pmNow that I have 3k miles on the car, I want to share my experience. I have a LX-S 4cyl model, in white. After the first month of ownership, I took the car for a weekend trip to central coast, CA (est. 600 miles). For a 4cyl, it has excellent acceleration (kinda reminded me of my 2002 Lexus IS, but not quite). It is very roomy and very stylist. The ride is a bit rougher than the Camry. The seats are a bit uncomfortable. Mechanic is good. Steering wheel does not vibrate like other 4cyl. Fuel to power ratio is excellent, maybe the best in its class. It would be much more fun to drive, if it had rear-wheel drive.

Great Car - 2006 Honda Accord
By Car Critic - December 26 - 10:38 amThe Honda Accord is the best car in its class. It takes the bumps like a sports car. The pickup is smooth and quiet. This car makes the BMW 3 Series look like the pile of junk that it is! This has got to be the best value of any car on the road.

Outshines my prior Lexuses! - 2000 Honda Accord
By Steve Carlin - December 26 - 10:00 amPreviously had a Lexus GS 400 and SC 300. Bought this as a commuter car in Boston. Quieter than either Lexus. Never a buzz or rattle. Adequate power, great ergonomics and engineering. Doesnt try to be more than it is (are you listening GM?), a great sedan.

great car - 2002 Honda Accord
By Harris - December 26 - 10:00 amthis is a great car in everyway, to its handling, stlying, and comfort. it has great heavy reponsive steering, and great accleration for a 4 cyclinder. styling is great no imatations. it gives generous room in the front and the back. honda is also some-what cheap for example; no automactic windows and locks standard, and no ash tray for lighter, for a car almost $20k??!!
