Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Boring, reliable car that MOOS - 1998 Honda Accord
By tessa - January 2 - 10:00 amGood car, fun to drive, boring to look at, very reliable, but there is a mooing sound near the gas tank which has never been resolved. Every once in awhile, more often when it is hot, the car moos like it is relieving pressure. Very weird. Owned this car three years and have to sell for a minivan now. But wont consider the Odyssey because of the mooing.

Best Car owned yet - 1998 Honda Accord
By marc132132 - January 2 - 10:00 amI have owned many cars a 99 Grand Cherokee Larado which was horrible with gas, 98 monte Carlo, this Honda is by far the best car yet, got lucky with buying it with only 20,000 miles on it and put 50,000 miles on it in 2 years with no problems at all except for a dead battery due to stereo system, will buy another Honda when time comes

One of the best cars for the money. - 2016 Honda Accord
By Robert Weir - January 1 - 5:25 pmThe Honda Accord Sedan is a near perfect bang for your buck. Great looks and Honda quality. Ive gotten several compliments on the car and surprised statements of "Thats a Honda". That being said I feel there are some minor tweaks that would make this the perfect car. Id like to see the same power of my former Acura TL but not at the expense of the improved mpg. The entertainment interface is a bit glitchy, particularly the Apple CarPlay. Sometimes it will not connect and it seems that the technologies "compete" with one another. Im hoping there will be an upgrade to the entertainment software that will resolve these minor but annoying issues. The front seats and not the most comfortable for long trips.

Great Car! - 1992 Honda Accord
By Dan - December 29 - 5:07 pmI have owned this car for a year and just recently had to preform a major repair on it. Oil got into places it shouldnt have which really lowered performance. Since the repair this car has been excellent! It drives and accelerates like it never did before! Its roomy, fun, and comes with plenty of features. Easy to see out of as most of the car seems to be all windows. Parts of of quality and it is a solid ride. With 147K miles, I cant complain!

Good car - 1990 Honda Accord
By lyndsicagle - December 27 - 6:09 pmI enjoy this car as a around town type of vehicle but not for long trip travel. I use it for just random errands and havent had any serious problems with it yet.

Complicated Honda - 2016 Honda Accord
By Thomas Zynda - December 27 - 9:50 amThe car has really good acceleration and handling, very quiet, a nice firm ride, great outward visibility. But the controls are unecessarily complicated ,illogical, and difficult to use. For example, the radio volume you adjust with a knob, but to adjust the tone you have to turn on the information screen, which is dangerous to do when youre driving and quite simply a stupid way to design the controls. Ditto resetting the trip odometer. The cars manual is very poor--illustrations are very poor and explanations incomplete or otherwise inadequate and at least in one place (p. 29 on system settings) just plain wrong. The video disc manual is equally useless as its just a video of the paper manual. In short, the design of the controls is stupid and the manual is next to worthless. The CVT transmission is very smooth. Car seems thin in some respects, e.g. the hinges for the trunk lid. I hope they didnt skimp on other things.
