Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • No longer has pass-thru - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

Just bought my 4th Accord today. Surprised to find out it doesnt have the "ski pass-thru" in the rear seat. Or as its known in my family, the "hockey stick pas-thru". Too bad Honda chose to "de-content" the current Honda and yet thay pay the NHL a marketing fee to be the "official car of the NHL". What a crock.

  • yet another one... - 2006 Honda Accord

Ive owned every style Accord since 1990, and this is yet another winner. I was about to purchase an Altima, but the Accords torque and smooth acceleration hooked me in. The VP gives us the basics we need, and the interior design is decent. I wish they would just add the rear speakers...how much more did they save by not doing so? You cant go wrong with a car with known reliability, quality and build.

  • Still impressed - 2003 Honda Accord

Here is an update from my 3/22/03 review. This car is great. Took a long 2000 mile road trip and averaged 31.8 MPG with average hiway speed at 80mph. It was so hard to keep it under 90mph, it rides so smooth with almost no road noise. Driving at night is no problem anymore with non-lit steering wheel controls. Compliments keep coming from everyone. My sister is now buying one.

The new style grows on you after awhile - it seemed strange at first but now I love it after seeing so many on the road- I love the comfortable leather heated seats - very roomy inside . I do find the ride is not as smooth over rough roads and bumps as I would like it to be - I feel them all - I also wish there were more color choices - I have the rodondo red which is beautiful -- the green and blue are just too dark !!! sound system is fair- no Bose like the maxima, which can not be beat----

  • 02 Accord Coupe EX V6 - 2002 Honda Accord

Got this car on a 2-year lease and regret we didnt just buy it outright. We lease all our cars and always love giving them back to dealership, but not this one, the dealer is going to have to pry the keys out of my deathgrip! (New baby wont let us keep it) The power is pretty good for 200 horsies and an automatic. Great all around car for non-family types; add the suggested improvements below and it would be unbeatable. No wonder you see them everywhere.

  • nice car but bad trany - 2000 Honda Accord

the car looks nice but i like to get on it once in a while, the trany is week and cant handle the power of the v6 engine, my friend went through three of them and mine is already slipping gears. im very unhappy

  • 8th Honda still going strong - 2005 Honda Accord

I have owned Accords and Civics for the last 16 years.(Also have a 05 Civic SE Coupe) Honda seems to keep getting better and better. This near luxury EX V6 is smooth, quiet and to my suprise, more fuel efficient then both my 99 EX-4 and my 02 EX V6. What a bargain for this kind of performance and luxury.

  • 3rd Honda Accord - 2010 Honda Accord
    By -

I recently purchased a 2010 Accord EX after trading in my 2007 Accord LX. The reliability/resale I receive is why I continue going back to Honda. Inside, the layout is very well designed and I dont have a problem with the button-heavy dash. I like the quality materials inside as well. The ride is firm and comfortable to me and passengers have complimented the space and ride also. Im 6 200 lbs and have no problem w/ 2 car seats in back. Although the 2.4L I4 isnt a dragster, its plenty quick enough for me. I think the gas pedal takes some effort to accelerate the car but isnt a big deal. Wind noise isnt an issue but is fairly noticeable w/ radio off. Overall great car to own and drive.
