Overview & Reviews
As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined and powerful engines, reputation for quality and durability, high crash test scores.

V-6 Accord Ride Comfort - 2004 Honda Accord
By KS Fujii - December 10 - 10:00 amAlthough I do not like the exterior design, the interiors are well appointed -- and to me, luxurious. Handling is satisfactory; but the comfort of ride is by far the worst of all cars that I have owned -- one feels every bump and road defect at both high and low speeds. I keep thinking that something is terribly wrong with this car, rated so highly by critics. This is our first Honda; and it has been a disappointment because of its ride. Obviously, Honda has not solved the problem of a bigger engine (V-6) with front wheel drive and its current suspension system.

Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By BLL - December 10 - 10:00 amMy wife is the primary driver and she loves the car. I have driven it several times and find it fun to drive. Very smooth shifting transmission. Peppy 4 cylinder engine. The exterior design is a little bland but the interior design and quality are excellent. The one significant thing lacking is that the controls on the steering wheel are not illuminated.

Great buy - 2004 Honda Accord
By gcabral424 - November 25 - 10:34 pmIm a proud owner of 2004 Honda Accord LX. To date I have put over 50,000 miles and havent had a single problem. I regularly do the maintance thats recommended and thats all. I love everything about the accord. The power, comfort, and gas mileage are awesome. The 4 cylinder although small has plenty of power and never lets me down. The only complaint I had with the car was the handling. Recently I purchased new tires 225 40 18 and the handling has greatly improved. I always knew that the small stock tires that the dealer provided was not enough rubber. Bottom line: great car!

2004 Accord EX V6 - 2004 Honda Accord
By Deen - November 15 - 2:00 amI would give this vehicle an overall 8.5 out of 10 for a car in this category. Its definitely fun to drive and a good improvement from the 02/03 models. I think Honda should add more luxury features and try to make it more of a sports vehicle. Otherwise, not a bad ride!

Great Buy - 2004 Honda Accord
By DamarisRN - November 8 - 2:00 amThe options are great and very user friendly. The gas tank goes quicker than I expected but driving it it is way more fun . The sengine is quiet and at high speeds very little changes in the cars handling. With the snow in the North east, its handling has left me amazed. I am very happy with my investment.

Back to my roots... - 2004 Honda Accord
By Dalmatian Wagon - November 8 - 2:00 amMy wife and I looked for a $30K sedan. We are both professionals and felt we deserved something special. We looked at Volvo S60, Mercedes C230, Infiniti G35, and even the pre-optioned BMW 325. We drove by a Honda dealer and thought wed just run in. We had both had Hondas in college and thought they were well mannered and reliable. Boy, things have changed. This is a bargain luxury car with all the features, including full power, alloys, ABS, 6- airbags, leather, 120W 6-disc CD stereo, heated seats, etc. Offered invoice price and the deal was signed. The 160HP 4-cyl handles wonderfully with the manual, with a 0-60 time around 7.7 sec. A very nice car.

BIG MANS FITS INTO HONDA ACCORD - 2004 Honda Accord
By RLEHR - November 4 - 10:00 amI LOVE MY ACCORD. I AM A 62 350 POUND MAN AND I LOVE MY HONDA ACCORD. WITH THE ADJUSTABLE STEERRING WHEEL AND THE POWER SEAT I HAVE FOUND THIS CAR TO BE VERTY COMFORTABLE AND ALOT OF FUN TO DRIVE. THE ONLY IMPROVEMENT I WOULD MAKE IS MAKING THE CONSOLE BETWEEN THE FRONT SEATS A LITTLE PLUSHER AND HIGHER OR AT LEAST MAKE A ACCESSORY THAT WOULD ACCOMPLISH THE SAME THING

V-6 A good Choice! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Mert Cheney - November 4 - 10:00 amThis is my 3rd Honda and my first V-6. All were EX models. Most impressive with this car is the smoothness, quietness, and power of the drivetrain. Handling is crisp and the ride is more taut than my previous 99 almost to the point of being irritating. My old EX rode better. Overall I am very happy with this car.
