Overview & Reviews
Honda takes a bold leap for 2005 with the introduction of the Hybrid Accord. Rather than add a hybrid motor to its four-cylinder, Honda bolts its third-generation IMA system to the Accord's already-potent V6. In one fell swoop the Accord hybrid has become the class leader in fuel economy (30 city, 38 highway) and power (255 horsepower). Other changes for the 2005 Honda Accord this year include new wheel cover designs for the LX and EX trims, a new coin pocket design, illuminated steering wheel controls and improved rear styling in sedans with redesigned taillamps. In addition, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags are now available on all trim levels all the way down to the base DX model.

Love it! - 2005 Honda Accord
By ann - August 9 - 3:53 pmIve had my Accord Hybrid about a month and I love it. I am amazed at how quiet it is, how smooth the ride is and the great pickup. I always think there is room for improvement for the fuel economy but for the size car I need right now I think this is the best. My new bumper sticker, "My other car is not a Hummer". :)

This is a short one - 2005 Honda Accord
By Tim27 - June 4 - 3:23 pmBasically I got the car in June brand new and I love it. Incredibly fun to drive. Great pick up. Everything about the car is amazing EXCEPT one thing I have noticed...there is a wicked blind spot to your back left. Other than that, I have nothing but great things to say about this car.

Extremely quality built auto for less $. - 2005 Honda Accord
By George E Roberts - May 18 - 9:16 amVery good value with good residual trade value. V-6 has adequate power, but could use 15 hp more too put in a class by itself. Satellite radio is poor quality, as Ive had several problems. Leather appointments and interior design is above average. Rather than a unitized bumper, I think the auto would be a good example for a separate ionized bumper to increase crash residence and increase safety. It may enhance the auto roof to be extended over passenger compartment, like Nissan Maxima. The pass thru rear seat entry should be larger, rear seats should fold flat.

Love my Honda Accord - 2005 Honda Accord
By Andrea Ripley - April 28 - 11:36 pmSince the purchase of my first Honda Accord, I have thoroughly enjoyed this car. Everything is so well designed and the car is fun to drive. The satellite radio is a wonderful feature. I gave up an old mini van for this car. What a great change. The performance was what caught our eye. We test drove a hybrid and the engine was not as smooth as a six cylinder. So we chose the 6. This car has some get up and go!

Honda Accord - 2005 Honda Accord
By Tom Gilbert - April 15 - 7:16 amWe really like the handling of the car. It corners very nicely. For a 2 door it is very spacious in the back seat. Plenty of room in the trunk. We took it on a summer trip with our 2 boys and the drive was great. Good gas mileage. Nice features that makes it very comfortable. We love our car.

Love driving this car! - 2005 Honda Accord
By dnelson - April 9 - 3:00 amIm 50+. I wanted a sporty, good looking, powerful (quick when I needed it), full featured, fun to drive, and reasonable gas mileage car without paying exorbitant price. Wow! Got all I wanted with the 6 cyl 2dr coupe -- with sun/moon roof. Tried Mustang, 350Z, 2 different Mazdas, Acura, and others. Nothing compared when considering power, comfort, styling, carrying room (for trips), economy, reliability, and price.

10 days, 1,000 miles and lovin it - 2005 Honda Accord
By Honda Convert - March 31 - 11:56 amCouldnt be happier with the Accord. I really liked driving a Durango for the past 7 years and the 3 Saturns we have owned have been fine. However, the Accord is the best. It is fun to drive, well built and gets good mileage.
