Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great Car - Hybrid? - 2005 Honda Accord
By mm - March 3 - 8:13 pmWe had been investigating this car since March, comparing it to other hybrids. This was the one for us and we finally bought it in June. It was sturdier, faster, more like the luxury sedan we were used to. It is also much more fun to drive - and we get to help the environement!

Performance, Style and Reliability - 2017 Honda Accord
By Andrew Cummings - March 3 - 3:19 pmI was looking to strike a balance between price, performance, reliability, and style. I was considering higher end vehicles... like the Acura TLX. The Honda Accord V6 Touring gives me what I want in a daily driver... at about 10k less. I had an 06 Accord V6 before this... and had such a great ownership experience, it was a no-brainer to get another one. If I had any ability to influence any of the cars design/features... it would be to encourage them to take another round of refinement at the infotainment system. Its pretty good, to be fair, but as a software engineer... its really evident that they CPU theyre using is too slow. If you want to just quickly check your milage while the car is off... it takes about 30 seconds to a minute. The boot time... is inexcusably slow. The Apple CarPlay is wonderful... And... it could use another round of refinement, in terms of integration. I see this is a Honda issue, not an Apple issue. It makes me wish that Apple had written the software for the whole infotainment system. All of this said... this is a fantastic car... Ive only driven it 1200 miles... so its still brand new for me... but Im already clear that I made a great choice.

By kpthirdmate - March 3 - 8:30 amI love my car... I guess if six cylinder came with a manual it would be a better car, but consideringthe whole package it is great. Besides, if I wanted a race car I would ahve gotten a different car

What a Luxury Car Should Be - 2002 Honda Accord
By Casey Rose - March 2 - 2:00 amThe new 2002 Honda Accord Mid-Size Luxury Sedan is the best car yet. It has all the features of a luxury car. It has a smooth ride, a sporty sound in the engine, comfortable seats, and an awesome price. The interior of the car is beautiful and luxurious. The exterior of the car is very nice. The shape of the car is cool as well. It also has an excellent navigation system.

Luv My Honda - 2000 Honda Accord
By JenC - March 2 - 2:00 amI loved my 2000 Honda Accord SE, from the first moment I got into the drivers seat. This being the first Honda I have owned, I would have to say that I would not purchase anything other than a Honda. The only minor complaint I have is the position of the front seat cup holders, its awkward to grab my morning coffee.

Great Car But Buy the Extended Warranty - 1998 Honda Accord
By HappyHoustonOwner - March 2 - 2:00 amMy first brand new car and I love it! Have had it for 4 1/2 years and am still happy. I really like the way the car feels and handles. A little dissapointed at the reliablity. I have done not only the regular oil changes but all of the extra maintenace that is recommended, and I mean all. Thank God I bought the extended warranty as at 77000 miles the transmission had to be replaced! Was free with warranty but would have cost me $4700.00!!! Ouch!

Darn good value overall!! - 2006 Honda Accord
By Bill - March 1 - 7:46 pmThe engine is great. Interior and exterior styling is awesome! The perforated leather is soft and of good quality. Seats are extremely comfortable. The car rides very nice and smooth. The 17" wheels and lower profile tires on this years V6 6M look sweet. Smooth shifting is difficult sometimes as another person mentioned. In traffic the clutch can be quite demanding as its especially springy; much more than your typical clutch. The brakes are not quite up to par with the performance. Handling could stand to improve a bit as its a little cushy feeling on fast turns. Overall youd be hard pressed to find a better value in this range. With a few tweaks, this car would be unbeatable!

A really great family sedan - 2008 Honda Accord
By SpiceUmUp - March 1 - 5:03 amAn extremely comfortable and capable sedan. I went for comfort over performance to fit it in my budget so the EX-L with the 4 cyl engine. I dont miss the V6. More than enough power for getting on the highway and passing when needed. Plenty of room in the front seat for my large frame and plenty of room behind me for a 6 foot son to sit. The black leather seats feel a bit hot on the back in the warm weather but otherwise no complaints about the interior. The exterior is handsome and gets positive comments and the Accord no longer looks like a generic sedan. Im getting 25-26 mpg mostly highway. I am not known to drive slowly so I am pleased with the mileage.
