Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Not quite as good as Id expected - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought it new and now have 94K on it. I figured it would be trouble free for at least 100K miles. Had to replace both rear wheel bearings. Check engine soon light has been going off and on for the last 40K miles (after having been fixed by dealer at 35K. Wind noise is more than it should be, but overall has been a good car. Too bad I see dozens just like it every day!

Just purchased this evening. Bought it September 30. Avoided the licensing or registration increase, nice. Didnt get the greatest pricing buying so late, with most other makers offering cash back, but I was quoted a price 3000 less than sticker before negotiating. Not bad considering the area and dealer rep where I bought it, they do offer great customer service. Well designed, and a real deal when compared to other models in its class. Interior is luxurious, for the price. Has power, and handles well. All the comfort and luxury features make it feel like a more expensive car, that compared with the price, is unbeatable. I would recommend it.

  • Solid Car - 2001 Honda Accord

This car has been good to me, not a single problem since I purchased it. It is not the fastest car on the market, but it is far from the slowest. The quality is superior, and it gets great gas milage. The car is a testiment to to Honda and their engineering driven design.

  • Honda comes through again! - 2004 Honda Accord

After having had three Lexus ES300s I decided to take a look at the new Accord V6. It was so smooth and comfortable I could not justify the extra $10K for another Lexus, particularly since I dont like the new body style of the Lexus.

  • Best All Around Car - 1995 Honda Accord

This is the best car I have owned. It now has 100,000 miles with Honda service and it still runs and rides like new. Pretty fast with the 5-speed 150 HP 4-cylinder, and it averages 30 MPG around town and 35 MPG on the road.

  • Great Car - 2005 Honda Accord

Great car to drive...brakes are still good as new despite having over 45,000 miles on the car. I love to drive this car. The power is awesome!

  • A Cracked Engine Head at 107,000 Miles! - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

I absolutely love(d) my Accord EX 4 dr. sedan. It was the funnest car I ever drove! It cornered great,it was peppy, reliable. I had the recommended timing belt maintenance done at 105,000 miles, also an oxygen sensor blew then too. Spent $1,000 on that preventive maintenance, only to have my engine head crack at 107,000 miles! I had no warning, no difference driving, but oil and antifreeze were mixing and the liquid looked like mud!! The pressure blew and popped a radiator hose just 4 months later. Cracked engine &I need a used engine put in for $2750, NOT! Needless to say, I am very disappointed and plan to write Honda to demand an answer as to why this would happen on their #1 product-cars

After 20 years of being a Honda Accord owner, I didnt need to shop around. I just looked for the best deal on my new Honda Accord.

  • Great Worker-Bee car - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought this brand new, now has 170,000 miles. Never did anything to it until I had 150,000. Still as tight and solid as the day I purchased it. Bulletproof reliability, and holding up very well. For the person who spends countless hours in their vehicle, the Honda Accord is it. Nothing too fancy, but just everything right. I want to get the 2008, but one problem. My 2002 still running like a new car.
