Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Nice as a BMW 3 Series - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I just purchased my 2008 Honda Accord V6 this past weekend. As a previous BMW owner i was extremely impressed with Hondas finished product. The new Accord shares some design cues with BMW on the sides, trunk, and front headlights. The fit and finish are top- notch, and the performance is good as well. I dont think im going to miss my BMW.

  • Love thecar...but it is noisy above 55 mph. - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

Test drive the Accord at speeds above 55 mph to be certain you can live with the noise. Other wise it is a good car. I am tall and on the fat side and find it comfortable. Two months now with the car and in mixed driving it is getting just over 30 mpg.

  • Great Car - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I was specific in what I wanted in 2003 with the Honda Coupe six cy. manual. I am glad that I did. It has been a truly exceptional car to own - a real joy to drive. Until the 2008 remodel, there was no real reason to consider trading because the 2003 has been essentially the same as the 2007. But the 2008 is a looker.

  • Great Car - 2006 Honda Accord

Overall, this is a great car. Drives very nicely & is comfortable. Two things I wish it had though are automatic one touch sunroof control, it would be nice. Also, the road noise is a little loud when traveling on the highway. Other than that, it is a great car for the price.

  • Good to Go - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

I began by leasing my Honda in 2002. When the lease was up, I decided to purchase it. Ive been very satisfied with my Honda. I traded a 1995 Aurora for it and although I LOVED my Aurora, the Honda has most of the same features. Its great on gas mileage and roomy enough for four people to travel comfortably. The stereo system really rocks and its very easy to handle. Ive only had to have routine maintenance and so far have had no major problems.

  • Good car, some maint after 150k. - 1992 Honda Accord
    By -

Orig owner. 200k+. Adequate power but wont win Indy (later V6 address this). Mileage 22-25 city, 28-30 hwy. Ride is comfy, 4+ hr trips-no aches. Good handling in summer, only okay in snow. Typical rust in rear wheel area. Kept up with routine maint. Reliable, BUT some addl maint required likely due to age. <100k: ICU (window/elec ctrls), fan temp cable, muffler, drv door handle. >150k: right cv jnt, A/T shift cable, radiator, ac condenser, frt rotors & Ball jnts, muffler, resonator and front pipe, drvs pwr window mtr Main relay went, only time car has broken down). Hood latch sticks. Still, despite the recent bills, I trust it more then other cars @ 200k still a daily driver.

  • Best in its class again - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I have been driving my 2008 Accord V6 for a year now. I previously had an 05 Accord Coupe V6. Suspension is improved significantly almost matching German cars as well as the overall drive quality in the new Accord. Much better handling and solid feel on the road. However I have few complaints about the interior. Although the dash looks really high tech, quality of the material used is not even matching my 05 Accord coupe. Some of the buttons make a cracky noise when pushed. It is the same for aluminum looking trim on door handles. These make the same kind of noise when door is pulled also look cheap. Manuel mode is a must on transmission. Still at this pricepoint, Accord is a great deal.

  • Glad I Did! - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

I originally went to the dealer just to check out the Honda Civic and since I was looking for a car that would cost me less in gas. I test drove the Honda Civic and I parked it next to the Honda Accord. I asked the salesman if I could also test drive the Accord. Well, I did and it was a grand ride. I was thoroughly impressed. This car is a keeper. I just love it. When I walk out to it and get in, I am so happy. The handling, the comfort, the radio controls on the steering wheel are superb. I called one of my good friends to tell her the call I had purchased an Accord and she had purchased the same car in a different color just a week earlier and she loves it too.

  • Takes a lickin - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

and keeps on tickin! Two people have run into me with my 05 Accord, and I have walked away fine. I couldnt imagine not having the side airbags. The car has been a pleasure to have, and I will continue to purchase Hondas.

  • Best car Ive owned!!! - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned several cars and hands down the Accord is the best. I purchased it with 190,000mi on it and it drives brand new! I paid $3200 for it, and it was the best money i have ever spent. I love the car, its very reliable and plan to drive it til the wheels fall off. The only thing i would say negative is that its hard to get out of the car but then again im 58 and have been driving SUVs for the past 7 yrs so it took some time to get used too.
