Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Amazing - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Im 16 years old, and my parents bought me this car because they knew Hondas would be reliable. I know I havent had this car for long, but I have three older brothers, all of which were given an Accord, and I have two younger sisters who will also receive one. My dad has owned 6 Accords and we have never had one that wasnt reliable, and this one is no exception. Its great for a beginner driver because its easy to drive. I feel safe in it, and it takes away a lot of fear in driving. The AC is fantastic, along with the radio sound quality. The 6 CD Changer is amazing as well :) I have no complaints about this car.

  • Fantastic Vehicle!! - 2004 Honda Accord

Ive owned this car for about 6 months. It had 35,450 miles on it when i bought it. I now have 45,400 and still purrs like the day she rolled off the lot. Great gas mileage on trips, and surprisingly driving all around town gas mileage is exceptional for a V6. Tight build quality, some minor rattles but people must remember, Hondas are tight cars with a lot of hard plastic. With rough pavement its hard to be surprised. Turn the radio up and enjoy!!!

  • best car ever - 2005 Honda Accord

My 2005 Honda Accord is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. The Honda Accord EX-V6 with leather is more than just a car. No words could explain the Accord. All I can say is drive one. Im not a big fan of imports but i test drove just about everything before i purchased my Accord and i never ever even considered purchasing one but I was there so i said let me drive it... SOLD!

I just bought a used Honda Accord EX. The car was flawless when bought, even though it had some high miles, other than that it still driving very strong. I had another Accord previously,1997 loved it but the car was totaled due to a stupid driver, but safe! That is why I saw one at the dealership, I had the technicians look it over, it was excellently maintained. Hope to get another 2-3 yrs usage out of it. Great ride for awesome price, and the dealership took car of me well at Infiniti of Charlotte! Ask for mo he will take care of all your car buying needs!

  • Love it - 2006 Honda Accord

Started with a Civic .. put 100,000 miles on it in a little over 2 years with absolutely no problems.. traded it in and upgraded to the Accord fully loaded. Love my car at 35,000 miles absolutely nothing has gone wrong. The ride is smooth .. there is a little road noise but is completely covered by light radio.. Love my XM and the voice activated navigation. Put tints on it and its a head turner.. Could get better leather though.. LOVE IT ..

  • replaced rear brakes - 2003 Honda Accord

Fun to drive but has corrosion problems. First, the alloy wheels corroded and pitted within six months. My sons Toyota wheels are like new 9 years later. Also, one of the four bolts that hold the air filter housing on was so corroded it broke upon removal as all four were seized. And finally, I had to replace the rear brakes at a cost from the dealer of almost $500. Front brakes are still fine. My wife and I have driven several Mazdas longer and for more miles and have never had the rear brakes so corroded and bound up that replacement was necessary after just 5 years.

  • 2004 EX-V6N Manual - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

My criteria included sub 15 sec quarter mile, .8 skid pad, slalom 63MPH, and something to augment our Grand Prix on road trips. This car meets all of those requirements at a price far lower than other capable alternatives. Ride with the manual option has the handling sophistication of the Acura TSX I road tested, but the all season tires are a limiting factor. Power is abundant with torque giving easy third gear cornering allowing 3rd 4th changes only needed around town. The manual has a note on 6spd vehicles needing higher grade fuel to stop knocking below 1000RPM, I put in premium this tank and its giving soother clutch engagement.

  • 3rd Day - 2008 Honda Accord

I traded in my 2004 Infiniti G-35 coupe because it was a lemon - Ill never buy Nissan again. I have heard about Hondas and Toyotas lasting forever so I settled on the Accord Coupe - as the Solara is unappealing. I have to tell you, in driving the Accord, the only big difference in driving experience so far is the report from the G35s exhaust, a barely noticed difference in takeoff speed, the 35 weighs more, but had +2 hp, and slightly more torque - but is helped by Nissans tuning, + it is rear wheel drive. I do miss the auto- stick a lot, but it was a small trade off +s for the Honda: more for the money: leather, sunroof, 87 OCTANE, Michelins, ipod support, warranty and service costs

  • Not usual Honda Quality - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I am a loyal Honda owner. I currently have 3 Hondas and my past 9 vehicles have been Hondas so this is painful for me to write. the 2003 V6 suffers from 1st year engineering and quality problems. At 3 yrs my radio display went dark (a problem area) it was covered under warranty but would have been an expensive fix if it hadnt been. In Jan of 2008 my automatic transmission went out, no warning just went out (big bucks). This past week (April 2008) my oxygen sensor went bad. I have had many Hondas and never had these kind of expensive repairs. It truly is starting to shake my confidence in Honda.
