Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Gorgeous car, wish for better seats - 2008 Honda Accord
By Steve - April 28 - 11:30 pmBought this car cert. 7 mo old with 13.5K miles, under $20K. For that price this is a fantastic luxurious coupe. There are trade offs that I have no problems with, my mileage after two tanks with mostly city driving is 21 but acceleration is very good, smooth, ride a little firm but enjoy the handling. I rode two hours home from the dealer and my back was sore for days. Have an old back injury. My thighs are lifted too high in the air. Feels like I am sitting in a bucket. A memory foam wedge pillow has made a world of difference. Compared to my Infiniti G20, this car feels huge. Comes with normal coupe blind spots. It is 6" wider and 13" longer than G20.

Love this car! - 2008 Honda Accord
By flyguy313 - April 28 - 9:50 amTraded in a a 2007 6 Cyl. SUV, wanted something with better gas mileage and something that had good resale value. Used edmunds and the dealership came in $800 under invoice. Not sure what invoice even means anymore. At first they said they couldnt go any lower than $75 over invoice but as I was about to walk away from the deal they lowered it.

Love It Or Leave It - 2002 Honda Accord
By Greg Smith - April 28 - 2:00 amI truly am infactuated with my new SE, only been a month but "WOW" what a winner! Honda Vs Toyota? Do yourself a favor, both great vehicles (Toyota) $$$$$ (Honda) $$$ and more effort in Hondas interior design & style. There may be alot of them on the road however, theres a reason !!!

Best value in class - 2004 Honda Accord
By perkins101 - April 28 - 2:00 amI traded in a 1999 BMW 3 Series for this car. My wife could not drive stick and needed more room for newborn, soon to arrive. Do not listen to peoples gripes about performance. While this car is certainly no BMW, it performes great for the value minded family owner who needs room, value and all of the other practical things. I have been well pleased with my purchase so far. I know that I will have trouble free transportation for 5 years and the car will not depreciate that quickly. Additionally, it is relatively fun to drive.

My honda is a lemon - 1998 Honda Accord
By localkid - April 28 - 2:00 amWhat ever happen to Hondas reputation for reliable engines. My diffuculties include engine shut off constantly as I approach a red light. I took my current Honda to a dealer to figure out what was wrong and they explained to me that it was due to a sensor canister (whatever Im not a mechanic) so I got it fixed and a couple of months later the same problem appeared - engine shut off. Second, are minor issues such as the winshield wiper blades nut or screw whatever the thing is every so often becomes lose and Ive had to tighten it a couple of times.

A love, hate relationship - 1998 Honda Accord
By MidwestAccord - April 27 - 3:20 pmHas been extremely reliable up until recently, but it has 193,000+ miles on it so I cant be too harsh. Before the clutch slave cylinder went out about 5,000 miles ago, it had never broken down. Still a pretty fast car for its size and still surprises many people that have never been in one. I wish Honda had kept the sportier looking Japanese design for the exterior, but the front still looks great.I added a different intake, which I highly recommend doing for the great sound and surprising performance gain.

Safest car ever - 2003 Honda Accord
By BEEVANS - April 26 - 11:22 pmI was in a HORRIBLE high speed, head on collision (police & helicopters everywhere!) 4 days ago & was able to get out of my 2003 Accord & walk away. The passengers in the other car (not a Honda) werent as lucky. I will only trust Honda made cars to protect my son & me!!!
