Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Hondas Image Is Fake - 2002 Honda Accord
By BigBoy - May 3 - 10:00 amBought this car and thought I hit the big time. Man was I mistaken. Honda has the worst warranty I have ever seen. You can never get ahold of people when you have a problem. The rear main seal started leaking at 7,000 miles. Honda loosened my oil filter and blamed it on that. The only problem is I put the oil filter on and marked it.They got cought and started to crud themselves (have tape). The windows rattle and the seats suck. The car is slow and unresponsive. Wines but does not move forward. Foreign car makers bull the reliability and probably pay people to sit around and type good things about their cars on web sites. Think about it.WHO WOULD KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

Honda is living on its past reputation - 2002 Honda Accord
By Too-much-money - May 3 - 10:00 amTest drove this car along with the American/German/Korean competition, there was no comparison. The Accord was a loud overpriced tin box. The exterior sheetmetal wasnt much thicker than a soda can with one piece flimsy plastic door handles and a cheap/chintzy interior. The car rode rough and had way too much road/wind noise. Save your 22 Gs and buy a Passat instead!

Car for Life - 2002 Honda Accord
By Probe8 - May 3 - 10:00 amVery good family car! Excellent reliability. Good gas mileage. Smooth and quiet handling. Financing was almost perfect and can hardly beat the rate. If you plan on having 2 to 3 kids in your family, this will be the perfect fit. One of the safest four door car Ive ever thought. If you think of selling it, this will be one of the highest resale value you can find with its class.

Love our Hondas - 2000 Honda Accord
By paul171 - May 3 - 10:00 amThis is our 6th Honda. Our first was a 1983 Civic that was flooded, hit, and survived two teenagers using it. Hondaa are fantastic vehicles. The 2000 is our 4th Accord and it has been fantastic. It now has 30000 miles on it and has not been back to the dealer for anything more than scheduled maintenance. It has performed flawlessly. It is fun to drive, economical, and very reliable. I have been recommending Hondas to others for years.

By richard - May 3 - 1:44 amI just bought a 94 Accord ex from my Buddy for $600 it came to around $750ish with title fees and whatnot, the car has 188k and runs like its brand new, I need need to do minor work to make this car purrfect, I order new headers cause 14+ year old headers are rusted and make a funny noise. I just bought new headlights, spark plugs, & a fuel filter one I get those installed I plan on keeping this car running for another 100k

Solid Car - 1997 Honda Accord
By Richa - May 1 - 2:49 pmThis is the most solid built car Ive ever owned-- almost eleven years old and no rattles! None. Also, there was a recall to replace dist. cap, rotor, wires, etc. within the past two years that would have addressed some of the other reviewers reliability complaints. My only "repair" (besides expected maintenance) was a new starter. This has got to be one of the better used car buys--30 mpg for a car that seats five.

Honda ex sedan 4door (4cy,Auto, leather) - 2001 Honda Accord
By dinola - April 30 - 9:55 amThis car has been very reliable. Gas mileage has been a consistent 24-28 MPG. Have not done anything to it except for brakes and Tires. Perform the normal services at 30,000 and 60,000 miles. Change oil regularly. The car is a 4 cyl automatic. It has plenty of pep. I find myself getting tired after sitting in driver seat for any length of time. Good Car. My son is now driving. Airbags all the way around.

Frnt Disc Brake Rotor - 1995 Honda Accord
By Julito Labor - April 30 - 7:08 amI love the car but the only problems that I have now is, I have a hard time changing the front disc rotor. Gonna cost you a little more, the design are not so common like two screws hold the disc. The old disc needs to be pressed and the new one needs to be press too. If you dont have the right tools let the shop do the job. Well, the ac is gone too but overall performance I think I already got my money back. Four thumbs up, I love it, love it.
