Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Id do it again! - 1997 Honda Accord
By CoryinTX - May 6 - 12:01 pmSo I purchased my 97 Accord about 3 years ago. Since then Ive only had minor things to replace (both knobs for the A/C, timing belt & water pump, radiator, brake pads). I absolutely love my car! It has just about 115K miles and it still runs like a dream. This is the 3rd Accord that Ive owned. The car is 11 years old, but Im willing to bet that its got another 150K miles left on it. The backseat is just ok for long trips (say my friends) & the front seats arent that bad either. Could use just a little bit more leg room after 5 hours on the road (my partner & I are 64") & some extra lumbar support for the driver would be nice. All of these are minor issues though. GREAT CAR!!!

Fun to Drive - 2017 Honda Accord
By Wadley Destin - May 6 - 11:48 amThanks to Jeffery Parham at River Oaks Honda, I was able to purchace the Honda Accord Sport 2017 in Crystal Black! This car is very fun to drive, great on acceleration, and good on gas. This car looks great inside and out, and a lot of great features that are included like the bluetooth and dual climate control makes it a comfortable ride.

Once again Honda was the right choice - 2006 Honda Accord
By Bob - May 6 - 3:56 amThis is the 4th Honda our family has owned. When it came time to replace our 97 Accord I thought it wold be an easy choice, buy another Accord, but looking at the new Camry and Hyundia I began to have doubts. After driving the other cars the choice was simple, the Accord was the better car.

Buyers Remorse? - 2008 Honda Accord
By jt007 - May 5 - 11:56 amTraded in my Oddysey for better gas mileage and more comfort. So far not super impressed with gas mileage, and comfort, well lets just say my dealership just ordered a new seat cushion for me today. I feel like somehow a Civic LX seat ended up in my loaded Accord. I drive 50k plus miles a year, and am not sure if I will make it even 6 months if they cannot solve this problem and soon. Comfort is my only real complaint. I am 61" tall, 210lbs...not overly large. Seat feels like it cuts into my left leg on long trips. I highly recommend driving this car more than down the street before spending this kind of money! Other features are wonderful. Gas mileage will surely improve, hopefully.

Love it - 2008 Honda Accord
By cojlucas - May 4 - 11:46 amI just bought my Accord 2 weeks ago and am very happy with my decision. This is my 4th Accord and was considering the switch to the Acura TL. I decided I wanted one more coupe and am glad I did. I got the EX-L in Belize Blue and opted for all the extras: spoiler, fog lights, mud flaps, and tinted windows. This car looks great! The interior is very similar to that of the TL, but for about $7k less. I traded my 04 EX-L for this one, yet there a few things I miss like the electro-illuminescent gauges. My biggest fear is that of the other drivers and the amount of door dings I always get on my cars and this car doesnt seem much stronger. The passenger seat rattles, but other than that..nice car

Its a Hummer !!! - 2015 Honda Accord
By Ross 2015 Accord Ex-L - May 4 - 9:52 amThis car rides like a Hummer , its the most uncomfortable car going over bumps , cracks etc. My car has the 17 inch wheels so I cant fathom how the sport with 19 inch wheels feels going over bumps , the cvt transmission feels like a yoyo during acceleration and just feels odd , Id much rather just have the feel of the gears shifting.I do love the overall look of the accord compared to the camry. As soon as I get enough equity on the loan I will buy another brand unless honda changes the suspension on the 2018 accord.

Accord for life - 2017 Honda Accord
By Hilroy Samuels - May 4 - 6:05 amMy 5th Accord but my first touring love the features. I love the V6 power. Average up to 26 miles per gallon highway. I do 80 miles a day round trip. Two dislikes are the apple car play is a little strange and the brake assist malfunctions when it is cover from round splash or snow cover. What I really like is the self steering feature it is so good when have my morning coffee it just steers itself.

Souring On This Model - 1998 Honda Accord
By angelcake - May 4 - 2:00 amLoved this car until it hit about 80K miles, had to spend almost $2000 in emissions repairs, the "check engine light" still comes off and on, fuel injection problems, acceleration problems, had the catalytic converter replaced to the tune of $650.00 and to top it all off, both of the heating/AC knobs broke off. I am not hard on cars at all, so there should have been no reason for this. Several other owners of the 98 Accord LX have had the same problems. Probably will not buy another Accord after this.

Questioning Honda - 2008 Honda Accord
By ASIANGIRL - May 3 - 6:36 pmI was so happy when I first got my new accord. Soon after I bought it, I started experiencing some issues. First my remote didnt want to work most of the time. Then even when I didnt press on the gas it would start gassing while I was in park. Then I had to replace my rear brake pads. I have kept up with my service but when I start the car it makes a rattling noise. I owned a 94 Honda accord before this and I was never disappointed. Wondering if I should just trade the car in to protect my family.
