Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Honda Believer - 2003 Honda Accord
By DeyDey - June 22 - 10:00 amMy second Accord. Previous was 1990 coupe. The 2003 is more comfortable and quieter with a softer ride but feels less sporty than the 1990. The car feels very safe to drive and is easy to control. The 4cyl 160 hp has a lot of pep from the start but slower to accelerate at hwy speeds, probably due to the computer controlled throttle which Honda claims maximizes your mpg (the 6cyl is still a direct cable), however, I get approx 28 mpg avg with 60/40 hwy/city driving! Overall a very well thought out machine and easy on the environment, another winner!

Great - 2008 Honda Accord
By Gregg - June 21 - 9:36 pmI have found the Honda Accord to be an awesome car. I have never owned a Honda before, but really have found it to be great. The room inside the car is outstanding. I am 6 ft 7in tall and have plenty of room. My family of 5 can comfortably ride in this car.

My Accord Stinks - 2003 Honda Accord
By Lorraine - June 21 - 9:20 pmSince buying my Accord in Oct 2002 I have had a terrible sulfur odor. It seems to be worse during the winter. The catalytic converter was replaced at just over 3000 miles. The dealership discounts the odor to California emissions since the car was made there. I had always heard how great Hondas were. I doubt that I would ever buy another Honda. I also have complained about my brakes. The car is going back in for the second time to have the brakes repaired.

Great Car - 2008 Honda Accord
By Barney54 - June 20 - 10:16 pmI purchased this car based on past experiences with Honda. After almost 5,000 miles, I have no complaints. Gas mileage is around 22-23 in town and 29-30 on the highway. The longest trip was 500 miles and the car was a pleasure to drive the entire time. Im 62" and have plenty of room.

Im lovin it! - 2006 Honda Accord
By griff33 - June 19 - 6:20 pmJust purchased my 2006 accord and absolutely am in love! Originally owned a 1993 accord and sadly traded it for an SUV! BIG MISTAKE. I drive a lot and this car is a pleasure to drive and its nimble on the highways when needed. The leather seats are comfortable and the navi will be a great asset to me for business meetings.

Great overall car - 1994 Honda Accord
By Accord_guy - June 18 - 7:20 pmIve had this car since 2002, six years later and still have had no problems with it. I drive in the city, as well as long 400 mile trips. Car looks great, gets 35 mpg on the highway, 29 combined. It now has 210,000 miles and still runs strong and reliable. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Love This Car - 2003 Honda Accord
By JHog - June 18 - 12:00 pmI bought this car not to long ago, i am a first time Honda owner and i love this car. This car was well maintained by its last owner, its only had Royal Purple synthetic oil in it changed every 6,000 miles even though its suggested to be changed every 12000 miles. All scheduled maintenance has been done throughout its life time so far. It has 140,000 miles and drives like new. It starts right up, drives perfect. the last owner took unbelievably good care of this car.

Nice, but not a "sport" sedan - 2006 Honda Accord
By Chris - June 17 - 7:06 pmAll the normal great things you get from Honda, good design, comfort, reliability. The engine is powerful and smooth, and the 6-speed transmission adds some sportiness. But dont fool yourself, this car is sill a Honda Accord. Youre not getting a "cheaper" sports sedan by going to the manual. Doesnt handle like a Buick, but leaves something to be desired. The car needs a better handling package, upgraded suspension with wider tires and upgraded brake system.
