Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Love my honda - 2000 Honda Accord
By kidace - July 13 - 1:30 pmI have 265,000 miles on my Honda and it still drives great. I have only done oil changes and replaced the tires. I recommend people to consider getting a Honda or at least trying one before buying.

Happy Honda Ride - 2008 Honda Accord
By CCSLVR - July 12 - 2:30 pmI wanted to get a nice sedan with a standard shift. The Accord EX-L 5- speed fit the bill. I enjoy driving the car each and every day (even to work). The 4 cylinder engine is just right for quick acceleration and highway cruising. I get 25 MPG in mixed driving and 31 MPG on the highway. The ownership experience has been excellent. Dealer service is done with a smile.

Amazing Car - 2000 Honda Accord
By 00Accord - July 11 - 2:46 pmI have had this car for about 9 years now, and I have to say, I fell in love with it from the very beginning. Immediately when you get in, the interior feels grand. You dont get that cheap feeling at all. Start the engine up and rev it a little to get your blood pumping. It is by no means a sports car, but the V6 version is definitely sporty for a family sedan. 0-60 is about 7.9 seconds, and you can really feel the 200 horses kick when you reach 3500 rpm and Vtec kicks in. As far as ride quality goes, I have no complaints. Turns are maneuvered impressively, the cabin is amazingly quiet, even at highway speeds, and the huge seats feel great. This is an overall perfect car.

Where has all my oil gone? - 1998 Honda Accord
By Shelly124 - July 9 - 2:00 amI bought this car new summer 1998 because I drive a lot of miles. When it turned about 2 years old, I stated RUNNING OUT OF OIL! Its not leaking, its not coming out the exhaust. I have taken it everywhere and nobody knows where the oil is going. Also, the 1998 and 1999 have EGR problems, and Honda wouldnt cover mine (or my Dads 99) under the recall. They told me it needed replacing for 400.00, turns out an independent garage cleaned it for 65 and its fine. The other problem, lights keep going out on my dash. At night, I cant see the clock, mileage and half of my speedometer!

Another Winner! - 2006 Honda Accord
By Houston Buyer - July 7 - 6:33 pmI sold my dependable Civic after 6 years and upgraded to a 2006 Accord. Im glad they offered a VP version - the power windows feature on the LX wasnt worth the extra cost. Excellent interior layout design: simple, elegant, and functional. No ego inflation needed! Im amazed at how quiet the ride is. Braking is a bit soft but you adjust to it. Theres a lot of features built into this car such as daytime running lights, adjustable instrumentation panel brightness (love this!), and standard side airbags. Looked at the Altima and Camry but found that Honda was still the overall winner!

Great Buy - 2007 Honda Accord
By Angie - July 7 - 10:37 amThis was my first Honda and I was not disappointed. Reliable, spacious with a smooth ride. I get complements every where I go. In fact three of my friends went out and bought one because they enjoyed mine so much.

Great car for Young person - 1991 Honda Accord
By alex h - July 6 - 9:44 pmGreat car gets you to point a to point b and more. This car has never gave me any problems. It runs like hell. It has been through more crap and snows and things than a little and still runs. Even after a bad accident it cranked up and drove off the scene and still runs till this date! Best car I have ever had and I think that I may ever have for a long time.

EX-L V6 with Nav & Honda Sensing - 2017 Honda Accord
By Steve Whitney - July 6 - 2:44 amI wanted a V6, and the local Honda dealer was pushing out the last of the 2017 V6s. So the price was right. I mostly like the car a lot. Great acceleration, and outstanding gas mileage from the V6. Im getting up to 35mpg on highway at 70mph. Engine and tranny are smooth and responsive. I am having a hard time finding a comfortable seat/steering wheel position that doesnt completely obscure my view of the gauges. Some have said that the dual display infotainment systems of the EX and Touring models is overly cumbersome and complicated, but I have not found it to be so. I do like the Garmin based navigation, although I have found no way to make it stay on a particular scale, or automatically go to "night mode" - you have to push the buttons. The Garmin navigation and standard features of the infotainment system, make Apple Car Play and Honda Link redundant. I dont like the design of the console, arm rest, cup holder combination, which is partly due to the hand lever parking break taking up much of the real estate of the console. Storage space and cubby volume within the cabin is about half of what my Camry was. The trunk is adequate, but a bit smaller than the Camry. The "premium" sound system, with sub-woofer, is OK, but not great, compared to other premium systems Ive heard. All of that said, these minor "sins" are more than trumped by the price I got.
