As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.

my first honda - 2004 Honda Accord
By honda in ok - May 30 - 10:00 amAfter test driving many cars I couldnt get over the solid feel of the Accord, I was very impressed with the smooth powerful performance of the V-6, the choice of materials for the interior are top notch for anything in the price range.I only have 4k mile so far but have been very pleased.The dealer treated me very well,I went in with some fair numbers and there was no usual games.

Tough customer - 2004 Honda Accord
By Roger - May 25 - 6:40 amHas the 5 speed automatic, which I could find on no other 2004 4-cylinder car. Im 6 4" and fit pretty well,find the seat comfortable and driver position good. A requirement was that I fit in the back seat, which I do, with no headroom problems (Camry failed this test). Handling is good with sport suspension and tires--twisty roads are fun. Brakes have great feel but are a tad weak,the antilock brake system works well. Engine is smooth and has zing. Tranny is uncanny, as is the cruise control. Interior is stylish and practical, heating and a/c work fine. A slight buzz developed after a bad Spokane pothole. Exterior is good- looking,somewhat stubby rear end--if you like gaudy, get a Pontiac.

By James - May 23 - 1:07 pmIve had my accord coupe for over four and a half years and Im am happy with it so far. Other than a few rattles from the interior and my stereo needing to be replaced (which was covered by my extended warranty) its working out great.

Great Car and Speedy - 2004 Honda Accord
By wes - May 14 - 12:22 pmI purchased the V6 Coupe b/c I needed a car that was comfortable, fast, and reliable. It also has Nav which I love (I drive a lot b/c of job). The Nav is very easy to use and I like the touch screen for all other controls e.g. AC, Audio, Nav, Trip computer etc. The car drives well, corners ok, but it has a lot of pep in it. 0-60 just under 7sec, stock. Leather could be better, drivers side bolster is showing wear, but its covered under extended warranty so I will be getting it replaced. Service not expensive, tires not bad, less than $100 each. Console does not click closed properly, started after 16 months.

I LOVE MY CAR - 2004 Honda Accord
By wesgrl - May 10 - 10:00 amNow granted I went from a manual everything stick shift Dogde Neon but this car is excellent. It gets the same gas mileage that my neon did, it handles nicely, its a solid smooth ride. I dont even know it when I do 95MPH, not that I have done it officer! I am definetly a Honda girl for life!

Best value in class - 2004 Honda Accord
By perkins101 - April 28 - 2:00 amI traded in a 1999 BMW 3 Series for this car. My wife could not drive stick and needed more room for newborn, soon to arrive. Do not listen to peoples gripes about performance. While this car is certainly no BMW, it performes great for the value minded family owner who needs room, value and all of the other practical things. I have been well pleased with my purchase so far. I know that I will have trouble free transportation for 5 years and the car will not depreciate that quickly. Additionally, it is relatively fun to drive.

Amazing - 2004 Honda Accord
By Chelsey - April 20 - 8:50 pmIm 16 years old, and my parents bought me this car because they knew Hondas would be reliable. I know I havent had this car for long, but I have three older brothers, all of which were given an Accord, and I have two younger sisters who will also receive one. My dad has owned 6 Accords and we have never had one that wasnt reliable, and this one is no exception. Its great for a beginner driver because its easy to drive. I feel safe in it, and it takes away a lot of fear in driving. The AC is fantastic, along with the radio sound quality. The 6 CD Changer is amazing as well :) I have no complaints about this car.

Fantastic Vehicle!! - 2004 Honda Accord
By redaccord04 - April 19 - 9:29 pmIve owned this car for about 6 months. It had 35,450 miles on it when i bought it. I now have 45,400 and still purrs like the day she rolled off the lot. Great gas mileage on trips, and surprisingly driving all around town gas mileage is exceptional for a V6. Tight build quality, some minor rattles but people must remember, Hondas are tight cars with a lot of hard plastic. With rough pavement its hard to be surprised. Turn the radio up and enjoy!!!
