Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Great Car - 2010 Honda Accord

After 18 months with a Civic, I had to do something. This car exceeds all of my expectations, less one. My other car is a 1999 AMG C-43, owned from new, so my standards are high.

  • Honda Accord EXL - 2009 Honda Accord

This is our third Honda Accord. We had a 1993 LX and a 1999 EXL. This 2008 Honda is the best yet! The overall interior space is big enough for 4 passengers, and the EXL Leather Interior has the same build quality as our $55,000 Lexus. The 4 cylinder is peppy, and never seems under-powered. You could spend a lot more for a car; but why?

  • Good Car - 2006 Honda Accord

Ive been commuting in this vehicle for almost three years and have about 44,000 miles on it. I average about 30 miles per gallon on a V-6 engine. This car has a lot of power and drives like a sports car. The only problem I had is the engine light came on three times because the valves needed adjustment, which was covered under warranty. Fit and finish and ride quality are typical Honda: top notch. My only complaint has been the resale value, but that may have corrected itself since gas priced have increased. In a nutshell, this vehicle offers 4 cylinder gas mileage, with a potent V-6 under the hood.

  • Just got the EX-L V6 Coupe... - 2010 Honda Accord
    By -

After leaving my beloved Honda for Nissan for a period of three years, (biggest mistake of my life), almost a month ago, I was lucky enough to get a 2010 EX-L V6 Honda Coupe. Needless to say, the internet pictures does this car no justice. Its sleek, sexy, practical and inexpensive (in contrast to the other coupes available). Black on Black with the silver door handles is a must for this car...if not silver or the dark grey. The rear seat has just enough room for my sons baby seat and leg room for one more passenger. I still get head turns when I pull up next to people. Honda, I am back!!!

  • What an Asset! - 2004 Honda Accord

What an incredible vehicle! We were able to refinance this vehicle in 2007 and payoff some bills. It runs well and looks great still and still has good value!

  • Mixed emotions - 2004 Honda Accord

This could be a tremendous car. The bountiful praise given the engine, transmission, and ergonomics is well deserved. The design objectives have been met with meticulous precision. I enjoy the way it handles, and am impressed with the smoothness of the 4 cylinder. It is a miser at the gas pump. The engineers have done a fantastic job in almost every respect. So what is my gripe? That the wonderful attributes of this car are greatly diminished by creaks and rattles within the cabin. These nuisances are expected of a 10 year old car, not a new one, and certainly not one from Honda. It is a shame, really. Honda was so close. So very, very close to bestowing on me automotive bliss.

  • Love My Honda - 2005 Honda Accord

I purchased this car new in Oct. 04, love it! Ive had it 4 years now and have had no mechanical problems other than having to replace a battery terminal, brakes twice, and working on my 2nd set of tires. No pause on acceleration, awesome zip. Ultra comfortable interior. Stereo is great. I will definitely be looking for a new Honda next year as I pass my down to the next child in line.

  • Very impressive car - 2008 Honda Accord

I came from a loaded Chevy Tahoe to the Accord. This is my second Honda and I am impressed by it. I bought it with splash guards and rear wing spoiler installed. The first 1/2 tank of gas yielded 25 mpg (city & hwy). Gas mileage is still getting better though. Hopefully Ill be able to consistently stay in the high 20s. It sure beats the 15.5mpg I was getting with my Tahoe. Build quality is excellent and everything is intuitive. Sure there are a lot of buttons at first but you learn to focus on what you want to change and it becomes easier with time. I dont even have to look at them much anymore, I just know which area to go to in order to change functions. Very happy with it!

We test drove the Toyota Camry no real comparison more safety features 8 airbags in the Honda 7 in the Camry Honda comes w/abs standard Camry charges as an extra w/Honda more horsepower & quicker pick up interior of the Honda design blows away the Camry. The Accord 2 separate A/C for passenger & driver the control panel is very eye pleasing with large display. The Accord much better value.

  • They keep getting better - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my 4th Accord (77, 83, 94, 07) and definitely the best. Very smooth ride and manual shift. Lots of power above 3K RPM. Tight steering and suspension tuned exactly as I like it (stiff but comfy). This car is very fun to drive, quiet, well-designed and solidly built. Back seat quite roomy even for my 6ft sons. Mileage is a little disappointing (28-29 on suburban commute with few stops--less than my 94), but that may relate to the car tempting me to drive "aggressively." I love this car!
