Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Very reliable car - 2002 Honda Accord

Ive driven it for 2.5 years has 50,000 miles on it, not a single problem on it so far. Replaced 4 tires at 38,000 miles. What surprised me was when I replace the brake pads at 44,000 miles, the car shop told me the pads on lt wore less than half, which means its still good! What a brake!

We traded our 06 MB C-230 for the 2007 EX-L V6 and couldnt be happier. The MB was in the shop almost every other month. The Accord has been absolutely maintenance free, other than oil changes. The performance is terrific, and I much prefer the styling of this one to the new 08s - like most everyone else too! The only issue weve noticed is when the transmission downshifts during normal braking (@ around 30 mi/hr) it causes the car to lurch (it feels like the driver tapped the brakes hard) for a brief sec. If this is the worse that we experience, were extremely happy. I previously had a 2003 EX-L V6 and the leather began to deteriorate after only 1 yr, hopefully this will hold up better.

I am very impressed with the power that the Accord 4-door Sedan Hybrids V6 engine with 255hp has. Addtionally, the car handles so smoothly and is so quite it sometimes is hard to realize the motors even running. I have gotten the gas mileage the EPA expects while on road trips, but slightly less while taking in-town trips.

  • Honda knows what it is doing - 2013 Honda Accord

overall i like the car, very roomy, smooth, alot of features, decent power, good build quality and material inside. the cvt does getting use to, at first i did not like, but after 3k mi there are some situtaions that i think it is better than a traditional tranny. still prefer a traditional tranny but not by that much. And actually like the cvt much more than i thought i would. the other two faults are the sound system sub par, and the ride a liittle firm, not bad but just would like a touch softer over some bumps, but live in nyc and roads terrible here. overall i give it a 8/10. fyi drove the sport back to back 3 differnces are steering heavier, ride little bussier, and stereo even worse

  • i love it - 2007 Honda Accord

Well, I used to own many kinds of cars, that include 6 of them is Honda. In my own experience I would not own anything else beside Honda. Yes I heard all kinds of complained about gas, noise, performance so on, so what you expect the car under 30 grand. But my car very special, leather w/nav, dvd, premium sound w/6disc changers, 6 speed manual v6 with 245 hp, and 4 doors. Please note this : if you want a better gas mileage on your car that depend on how you drive it.

  • Sad - 1998 Honda Accord

Recap to earlier review. Approx 82k and even though maintained well. Its needed alt., vtec valve and pwr door actuator. Car still looks nice except for corroding wheels. Major problem has been the trans which started shifting bad at 18k and gets worse every year. Sad sad sad. Ive notified Honda about trans and they claim theyll help me

  • Hot Family Sedan - 2003 Honda Accord

This is one great family sedan. Most solid Honda Ive ever driven, and Ive owned several. No other company packs as much equipment as they do for a great price.

  • Beautiful Car - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I love the Accord, from the sculpted body to the 240 horses under the hood, it is truely an amazing car. The more I look at it, the beautiful I think it is. The black leather interior compliments the metallic silver paint perfectly.

  • Good Car except brakes skid - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

#1: The car doesnt seem to stop/ skids , when brakes applied over road bumps. Its a little frightening when it does that. No problem driving in the winter though (may be because I drive slowly). #2: 2007 model accord doesnt has a auxiliary port.

  • Great car, but the brakes are terrible. - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This is the first new car I have ever owned. It is taken care of meticulously. It has 40000 on it, the brakes have been done twice, the head unit once, and there is a rattle on the pax side. Its fast for a sedan. Louder than it should be on the highway. Its comfortable in all seats. Would I buy another one? Probably, but Ill look around.
