Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

exceptional value - 2007 Honda Accord
By trent - August 31 - 8:00 pmWas in the market after surviving for a year driving an 07 Yaris-poor handling for New England winters! Drove the Accord and we were convinced that we made the right decision. Gas mileage is consistently 25+ mpg. Handling is quick and secure. Winter tires/wheel package (Tire Rack) with standard VSA make driving in Vt winters a breeze. Unbeatable combination of power/performance and value .

I love this car! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Ashanti - August 31 - 1:27 pmThis car is the best in its class. It has the perfect blend of luxury and sports car. The acceleration is amazing! I feel that my 2004 model compares to any 2008 model car with its performance. Im a young college student with a car thats affordable on gas, and has a classy, forever young look to it. I will grow with this car for sure and just know that it will last me through grad school!

Great Value and Fun for the Money - 2006 Honda Accord
By Missouri Man - August 30 - 3:50 pmIve owned 7 Accords, and this version is absolutely the finest yet. Ive also owned Mazda, Toyota and Ford, but never found a vehicle as refined and reliable as Honda. I purchased the Accord Sedan V6 with the 6 speed manual transmission, and this baby can move!!! Great ride, control, and comfort. Highly recommended!

mixed reviews with the 2010 Accord - 2010 Honda Accord
By Enrique Gomez - August 29 - 10:27 ambought the car with a break problem (shaking/making clanging noise) and oil problem (using oil too quickly )from a gas station dealer at about 53k. I replaced all the pads and rotors at 53k before I realized the true cause of the braking problems is a bad brake system. The oil problem was fixed by a Honda dealer through a warranty/recall where the engine was pretty much rebuilt. The Accord is great because despite being quite large it has good acceleration and handling. Unfortunately, I gave the car low marks for Road Holding because the car is easily tossed by highway winds.. irrelevant to Road Holding but related on the highway the cabin is very, very noisy., otherwise, the suspension/steering are phenomenal at slow speeds (25-45mph) I have Good Year All Season Tires and they work really well in the snow. The Accord just hit 83k miles and the brake problems have returned.

GREAT CAR FOR THE MONEY!!!!!! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Baby-G - August 29 - 10:00 amThis car is great. The 160 hp engine is really fun to drive. If you step on the gas this baby goes! No need for the V-6. The XM satelite radio is a great addittion to an already sound car. The heated seats are great and act as great compliments to the comfortable leather. The 6-disc in dash cd player makes a long road trip not seem so bad. I have been a Honda owner for the past 8 years and dont see myself switching anytime soon. Recommend purchase. Hard to beat all the extras you get for this car for the price. Also looked at an Acura TSX, not enough difference in the overall car to allow me to justify spending the extra $.

Think again if you live in a hilly area - 2004 Honda Accord
By spannertech - August 29 - 10:00 amAlthough Im overall pretty happy, I wish Id test drove this car up a couple of hills before I bought it. Living in a hilly area it just seems to make a big fuss getting up them. It also REALLY kills fuel economy, however gentle I am. Previously owned a Golf GTI 1.8T, so perhaps I just got used to about the same power moving less weight. On the freeway its quiet and effortless and thats great for long trips.

Happy Accord owner - 1997 Honda Accord
By hnk000 - August 29 - 12:10 amIve had my Accord se since it was a year old/25k miles. It now has 250,000 miles on it. Ive done every maintenance requirement on it. And had only a few problems all things considered. Brought it from la to ca and back. After all this time the only problem I have is the leaks. But after so much wear and tear what else could anyone ask for. A great car. Im attached still after all these years. And it still looks perfect. Word.

I wouldnt buy the 2003 model - 2003 Honda Accord
By No More Honda - August 28 - 10:13 pmI have had many problems with my Accord. Transmission slips without notice, electrical problems, a/c only blows 1 temp. The car seems to have a mind of its own so I wouldnt recommend the 2003 model since this is the 1st year of the new style. Check out the recalls on the 2003s, there are many! Always trouble. Get the 2005.

Excellent for the Money - 2009 Honda Accord
By Next Batman - August 28 - 8:10 pmI had a 2006 VW Passat and I loved it. 75000 miles in just 2 years... Commuting to work 165 every day. I looked for another Passat and WOW! The minimum sales tag was 28,000 bucks.. No way! Then I start to look into something more affordable and I found the new Accord. My wife has a Odyssey and we both love it. No problems at all, meaning none! So, I went for Honda blind bet and until now was a good decision, especially for the money. There is no car available for 21,000 with all those features. You want a better car? Prepare to spend more. Nissan Altima is a good competitor but no need to mention resale value. Happy but is not the Audi A4 I dream with.
