Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Almost or Downhill - 2004 Honda Accord

This is my third Honda Quality did not match previous cars, leather seats keep a lot of heat, plastic finishes are not quite good, the windshield distorts the view, I took it to the dealership, the manager was suprised to see it, we checked many cars in the lot and he acknowledged that the deffect was in every car even in the Oddiseys! He was truly surprised of not seen it before and that none saw that detail before. The car accelerates and breaks very well however the the quality almost there but did not matcht my other cars.

I bought this car on impulse. It was the best purchase ive ever made. It handles beautifully, it looks beautiful (especially in the graphite pearl color) and with the 240 horsepower v6 this thing moves. Not to mention the awesome 6cd in dash cd player and the heated leather seats. All in all these along with all the other features that excape me at the moment you cant go wrong getting this car.

The Honda is absolutely fantastic automobile. However, their design colors (interiors) leave lot to be desired. Why cant you get a white car with a blue interior?

  • A worry-free car - 1996 Honda Accord

When you get in your car, you should expect it to work. Also, with routine and preventative maintenance, you should expect NOTHING to go wrong with the car. My Honda has been running strong for 3 straight years. I changed out the plugs, hoses, added a new muffler and oxygen sensor and at 174,000 miles it is running perfectly. I will definitely buy another Honda when the time comes, but I plan to run mine into the ground.

  • Still Running & Looking Great - 1997 Honda Accord

I bought my Accord in January of 2004 at 90,000 miles. It still runs great thanks in part of regular repairs that it has needed and the simple fact that its a Honda. I am planing on buying a new Accord this spring so I will miss this car a lot when I trade it in.

  • The best car for this price - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased this car exactly a year ago, so its a time to write a review. This is an excellent car for this price. There is no one feature from VP-to-LX differences I really miss. I believe it was a mistake for Honda to drop a budget style for the new Accord lineup. Hope they will have one for 2010. BTH, we have also 2007 V6 in the household - dont buy V6, the relatively small difference in acceleration doesnt worth paying extra money.

  • Just bought a HONDA LOVE IT! - 2002 Honda Accord

We just bought a Accord Value Package. I orginally wanted the Accord DX, but no dealers had any, one dealer had the value package which is a DX model with a lot of options. I paid 16,300. It only comes in 2 colors silver and blue. You need to take a look at what comes standard, there is chrome trim around the windows, I thought so what until I saw the cars that had the black rubber around the windows. The automatic stick shift has a nice wood grain, of course its imitation, around it. Has a CD player and cassatte, standard. I think they forgot I have a few 8 tracks in the garage. Back seat flips down and locks so the kids can fool with it.

  • Solid car - 2002 Honda Accord

Excellent car. Brakes and engine are well balanced compared to most competing vehicles. The car feels solid but not heavy and moves nibly and smoothly. A better value than the Camry and without the arrogance of Toyota dealerships.

  • We Should Have Kept Our SUV - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Our 2008 Accord is very disappointing, our in town mileage is 14.3 hwy 25.4 @60 mile per hr>> after 3500 miles. Our Avalanche in town was 14.1 not a good trade off we drive slow and coast to stoplight, shift into neutral or turn off engine this is not a good driving experience. Engine performance lacks punch after 60, head rest are poor design, lacks driver seat memory rear seat a/c, radio system is marginal compared to Bose, Seats are hard and small for a large person. Numerous rattles cannot be fixed by Katy Honda, seat track broke and cannot drive for 2 weeks, VCM shudders and stays on, outside temp gauge stays at 87 degrees, map light will blind driver at night, loud road noise at hwy spd
