Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Honda EX Review - 2003 Honda Accord
By COL - September 15 - 2:00 amThis is my first venture into the Honda products and I made a good choice. I really enjoy the performance of this vehicle and the ride is great. I probably dont have enough miles yet (1600) to evaluate the economy. My two biggest disappointments are (1) The adjustable/telescopic steering wheel doesnt leave enough room to get ones legs through---and I am only 59"; and (2) I am disappointed that the door locks do not automatically lock when engaging the transmission and unlock when shifting to Park. Other than those two things, I cannot find anything else to complain about.

Buy ANYTHING BUT honda - 2002 Honda Accord
By hondaBITES - September 15 - 2:00 amI have TOO MANY issues with this car to list them all. Basically its an overpriced, over hyped piece of cheap trash. Gas mileage varies seasonally, lowbeam headlights are worthless at night, paint chips when hit with an egg, interior fabric on armrests was worn thread-bare at 10,000 miles, wiper blades were replaced at less than 5,000 miles, brakes as well, 150 horses and MOST dead, dealers attitude BITES as well. American Honda Finance has NO email address. NEVER AGAIN!

Great Ride but Rear Brakes a Problem - 2008 Honda Accord
By delgado39 - September 13 - 4:13 amOver the past 15 years our family has owned 7 Honda Accords. They have all held up well with "routine" maintenance being the primary cost of repair. My 2008 Honda Accord EX is a pleasure to drive. Certainly a lot bigger than my 2004 but still a nice & sporty driving experience. The exterior styling was a winner for me. Overall comfort for me is above average (but I think I have the right body type). Only failing so far is the Rear Brake pads prematurely wearing at 22,000. Did not expect it!! So I got them replaced and called Honda to file a compliant. Thats why my reliability rating is lower.

Excellent car for the money - 2002 Honda Accord
By Jay - September 12 - 6:31 pmI bought this car used with about 65K miles on it and it has been great to me so far. Now with 130+K miles it has not yet had any problems. Fuel economy is not as good as I expected (23-32mpg) but still very good compared to others. I have no regrets buying this car and would gladly buy another.
