Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Accord Ex L - Navi - 2004 Honda Accord
By Don Liu - September 20 - 11:56 pmI am very pleased by this vehicle for over fours year, I only replaced AC transistor unit ($150) due to I switch on and off AC too many times Honda paid for my wiper motor last year. Fuel economy is amazing for a V6. It says 18-27 mpg but my on-board computer tells it is 23+ in city and 32-34 mpg on high way if I cruise on 75 mph. I was considering trading in this babe for a 2008 Accord V6. After test driving, I still love mine. It is more responsive and fuel efficient.

Accord is #1 - 1993 Honda Accord
By doofus - September 20 - 8:33 pmIve had my Accord since I bought it new in 1993. It is ultra-reliable. Ive replaced only tires, brakes, and exhaust in 15 years of ownership. I plan to sell it in the next month or so. Having bought the car for $13,000 and considering its resale value of about $2000 there is no better value in the automotive industry. Cant wait to get my hands on the 2009!

Wow! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Ken - September 20 - 6:26 amPurchased for fuel economy with performance. Fast and quick handling. Runs like a V8. A better riding set of tires would make this car more comfortable on the freeways in CA. The factory Michlin S-8s are hybrid tires for fuel economy- they ride hard. Fuel economy is getting better now at 4,000K. A fuel additive gets us 40MPG Hyway and 30 in the city-best mileage. Average driving is lower at 25/35. Sound system is just ok. Dealer response has been good. I replaced the tire pump with a mini spare. No problems so far. We like the car! Brakes seem too sensitive and have a tendency to grab quickly at low speeds or when coming to a stop.

Another excellent Honda! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Carrie - September 20 - 5:16 amI have owned Hondas almost my entire driving career! Each has given outstanding reliability, excellent performance, and great fuel economy. The drive is solid, and the car handles very well. The 2004 sedan is no different, other than the 4-cylinder engine is a bit more powerful than it used to be. That is a plus for me. Great car. I would recommend it to anyone.

She is Getting Old - Still Going Strong! - 1996 Honda Accord
By Rachel - September 19 - 2:59 pmI bought my Honda Accord new in March 1996. She has been a great car and currently has 137,600 miles. Besides regular maintenance, I had to change the master cylinder at 115K miles, CV joints/boots at 125K miles, and the distributor at 137K miles. I have had a total of $800 (parts and labor) in repairs. I highly recommend Honda Accords as this is my second Accord. I sold my first Accord with 196K miles (which was still running fine when I sold it).

Great car - 2009 Honda Accord
By sam011002 - September 18 - 6:16 amI had planned on buying used, but the new price was too good to pass up. With the $6000 off MSRP, I have a lot of car for the money. Great looking vehicle with most of the options I was looking for. Interior is classy. Have had the car three weeks, put on 2800 miles including one 1600 trip. Read the complaints about the firm seat. I had some concerns, but after the 1600 miles had no aches or pains, and I am not young. I think it is a great seat. I have been very pleased with the MPG. 27.7 MPG at 78 MPH. 23 MPG around town. Just have to watch jack rabbit starts.

An affordable Honda Accord - VP - 2007 Honda Accord
By Ted Detjen - September 17 - 5:03 amWe began our search for a car by looking at Honda Civics but discovered that the Value Package Honda Accord cost only a few hundred dollars more. It comes with many useful features including remote entry, an anti-theft system, cruise control, a CD/radio, a maintenance minder system, a peppy 4 cylinder engine with a smooth five speed transmission, air conditioning, lights in the glovebox and trunk, anti-lock brakes, front and side airbags, and power windows.

Worth every penny - 2005 Honda Accord
By Chief&Jay - September 15 - 6:00 amThis car is exactly what we were looking for in a mid size sedan. It has enough room for passengers, all of the stuff for us techno geeks, some luxury, the power, efficiency, build quality, and residuals that we were looking for.
