Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Original Owner of 17 years - 1992 Honda Accord
By Bob - September 28 - 1:39 pmThe vehicle cannot be compared with other for it has been totally reliable in all aspects. This vehicle sat in storage for 3 years while on overseas service and upon turning the key, it was not disconnected during storage, it started right up and the clock on the dash still had the correct time. I did the normal hose and belt replacement along with the timing belt and 60K later she is still running strong. As other reviewers have revealed the quarter panels are very rust prone but if I were to call Honda they would probably consider meeting me 1/2 way on the repairs. Not only is the car reliable the manufacturer has been nothing but helpful with minor to major issues. Great car period!

Best car I have owned - 2003 Honda Accord
By mred0950 - September 27 - 10:00 amThis is my 3rd Accord and my 4th Honda. I have owned over 12 cars in the past 35 years and no car has impresed me as much as the 2003 Accord EX V6. I had looked at Toyota and others but for the price no car could beat the Accord. Ive had the car a few weeks now and I have no complaints of any kind. The car is loaded with everything and anything any driver could ask for.

Disappointment in mileage - 2006 Honda Accord
By B. Bell - September 27 - 12:13 amI do love my car but the wool was pulled over our eyes about the mileage. I adverage about 26-28 miles per gallon far less than the sticker said. The was not able to deduct the car being a Hybrid on taxes as told by salesperson.

Accordingly - 2005 Honda Accord
By Accordingly - September 26 - 9:33 amIve had my Accord for almost 5 months. I must say that I like the car a lot. It does everything well, but nothing extraordinary. Its peppy, has great looks (inside and out); is comfortable; reliable; great value; but a boring driving experience. Its a perfect car to get you to/from in style, knowing the end result will be a car with great resale value; low insurance costs; good safety record; and very good gas mileage. Its a buy.

6 speed needed - 2006 Honda Accord
By mac - September 25 - 10:32 pmManual wakes this 6 up. Quick when pushed but I average 28 mpg mixed. Tires not wide enough for its guts, can spin the wheels through first 3 gears. Some road noise but tolerable. Not a quiet floater, good compromise for family car and fun. Disappointed they dropped the V6 6 speed sedan for new body style. There are a few of us with kids who like to play a little.

Awful Seat Design! - 2008 Honda Accord
By marvelous2 - September 25 - 7:30 pmI just traded this car after owning it for a few months! It cost me thousands of dollars to get rid of it, but the seats gave me and my wife back pain after 20 minutes of driving! No one, the dealer or American Honda, would help me. Take a long test drive before buying this car. Wish I had! Buyer beware!

Very satisfied - quality vehicle - 2006 Honda Accord
By Stan - September 25 - 9:10 amIve had my Accord for about 4 months, and recently returned from a 1200+ mile trip, averaging 35 mpg (mostly highway). There is more than adequate power for me with the 4cyl engine (and use of regular gas is a plus). Even though the drive is on the sporty/stiff side, its quite comfortable. The interior is tastefully and thoughtfully designed. I feel like Im in a luxury sports sedan without the luxury price. Not a stand-out car (seems like Im always passing one on the street), but a solid/reliable vehicle. If only it werent one of the top stolen vehicles in my city...

peppy, comfortable ride but low mileage - 2003 Honda Accord
By chilehead - September 24 - 9:03 pmI recently bought this used to have a cash car and to get into something with better gas mileage than my truck. I love the styling and would say it on of my favorite years for being sporty and practical all in one car. I have lots of trunk space, the seats are comfortable and the stereo even sounds good. My main issue is Im getting poor gas mileage. I wasnt expecting the EPA mileage, but for a 4-cyl, I was hoping for better than 20/30. I average about 23-24 mpg. I have explored all the gas saving tune ups too. I was getting 19-20 in my v-8 truck. I wish I would have opted for the 6-cyl as the mileage is about same with more oomph.

V6 4 Door Manual - 2006 Honda Accord
By Accord Driver - September 23 - 2:43 pmGreat car, has an abundance of power especially with the manual. The car does everything more than well but nothing perfect. It is a jack of all trades that gets good gas mileage as well.
