Overview & Reviews
As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined and powerful engines, reputation for quality and durability, high crash test scores.

My Wonderful Honda - 2004 Honda Accord
By honda gal - August 24 - 10:00 amThis is my first honda (but NOT) my last. The car is beautiful inside and out. Roomy in front as well as back and trunk. The heaters in the leather seats are wonderful. The car handles well in rain and snow. I cannot imagine driving anything else. I would recommend this car to first time buyers in a minute. Thanks HONDA!

What an Asset! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Marsha Mitchell - August 1 - 2:11 amWhat an incredible vehicle! We were able to refinance this vehicle in 2007 and payoff some bills. It runs well and looks great still and still has good value!

Mixed emotions - 2004 Honda Accord
By Jim - July 31 - 11:40 pmThis could be a tremendous car. The bountiful praise given the engine, transmission, and ergonomics is well deserved. The design objectives have been met with meticulous precision. I enjoy the way it handles, and am impressed with the smoothness of the 4 cylinder. It is a miser at the gas pump. The engineers have done a fantastic job in almost every respect. So what is my gripe? That the wonderful attributes of this car are greatly diminished by creaks and rattles within the cabin. These nuisances are expected of a 10 year old car, not a new one, and certainly not one from Honda. It is a shame, really. Honda was so close. So very, very close to bestowing on me automotive bliss.

My First Import - 2004 Honda Accord
By callen - July 23 - 10:00 amIve always driven GM products. After owning my first Honda for 3 days, I may never own another domestic car again! The ride, handling, acceleration, design, quality, EVERYTHING is superior to American made cars. I previously owned an 02 Grand Prix GT. Powerful car, but always felt heavy and sluggish. My new honda would run circles around that Pontiac. Its nimble, responsive, firm, and still comfortable. I was leery at first, but more than happy with my decision. This car is amazing!!

Fun to Drive - 2004 Honda Accord
By Hugh - July 20 - 6:26 pmThis is my 3rd Accord. It is a 4-Dr V- 6 EX Accord. The 1st was a 1976 2 Dr. This car is fully loaded with the Navi system. The car performs flawlessly around corners. I have 2 problems with this car however. The 1st is that the gas mileage is very poor. Around city I only get about 18 MPG. On the highway about 22 MPG. The other problem is the outside temp gauge. It does not work consistenly. When it is 98 degrees outside the gauge would read 74 degrees for hours. Aside from these 2 complaints, I am very please with the car. Now I have a 1990 & 2004 Accord. The 1990 has over 239,000 miles w/o any major problems. The 2004 should last at least this long with proper maintaince.
