Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Still Quality After Eight Years - 1994 Honda Accord
By apitch - November 27 - 10:00 amI purchased this car in Jan. 2002. I was hesitant about buying the eight year old car from a private seller. But to my surprise, the ride of the car is smooth (even though it is a four cylinder) and has given me no problems. What helped is that the prior owner routinely kept up the maintenance. The look of the Honda is a classic--sleek and smooth and still can compete with the modern cars of today. In addition, I really like the gas mileage.

Moneys Worth...almost - 1998 Honda Accord
By Braindead - November 27 - 10:00 amGood value for money but perfomrance not upto expectations. I had a 90 Maxima before which had more comfortable seats and felt like it accelerated faster. Hondas controls are better placed though and it has better resale value for sure. Honda makes better cars - Nissan makes better engines

Love this Accord - 2000 Honda Accord
By mdurkin - November 27 - 7:52 amI bought this car in 2000 and have owned it for 8 and half years. In that time I have put 135,000 trouble-free miles on it. Literally, no problems, not one. I have maintained it well, but have never had anything break on it. I am giving this car to my son this weekend, I am sad to see it go, but he needs a car and cant drive a manual transmission, so I am giving it up. It feels like a divorce. I have loved this car, and expect it to last another 10 years with good maintenance. Good fuel economy, about 25 around town, 30 to 33 on highway with cruise control. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new car.

Good price for vehicle as equipped - 2016 Honda Accord
By John Roundtree - November 26 - 2:16 pmFair price for a vehicle built on a solid reputation for reliability for almost 30 years. The more options, the more you pay. This vehicle was really loaded, and I am enjoying, driving and using it. I had only two disappointments, but I could be making an unfair comparison.I didnt care a lot for the drivers side blind spot mirror or the fact that this vehicle was not equipped with a hard drive. My other vehicle has great blind spot mirrors and a built in hard drive on which I can record up to 2400 tunes, however,I was able to record music onto a flash drive for enhanced entertainment features.Overall,I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this vehicle to others. My previous vehicle was a 2004 Honda Accord EX-V6 that was purchased new.

This is the one to beat! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Accord Lover - November 25 - 4:16 pmThe new Accord is the real deal. The steering is silky. The seats are very comfortable and I love the cloth.(I never owned a car w/o leather). My wife was surprised by the new body style when I brought it home. She said it looked very expensive. I got 26.5 MPG on the 1st tank of gas. Overall, this is the best car on the market in its class!

Stop complaining about the seats! - 2009 Honda Accord
By tom in kc - November 24 - 8:10 pmOk....I get it...a few do not like the seats but less attention needs to given to the subject. I always do homework to ensure I will arrive at the best price and get the most value. I shopped Altima, Camry, Maxda6 and obviously the Accord all with 4cyl & automatic. The Altima came in the cheapest with the 6 and the Accord coming in both at $19,800 and last the Camry at $21K. All drove excellent but in the end I bought my first Honda. The LXP is a great value pkg and brings the msrp to $23,225.00. After a dozen domestics in my past I am happy to own a Honda. The car drives great and just got 390 miles on my first tank...driving in around city makes that 21mpg. The car is a pleasure to drive.

One Dependable Buddy - 1995 Honda Accord
By Red - November 24 - 12:39 pmI drove this model from 1997 to 2007 when I was still in the Philippines, and I tell you, it was such a dependable car that I never had any breakdown at all. I had to sell it because I moved to the US, and recently I bought exactly the same model - and a very much used one with 173,000 miles - and I have been driving it around with no problems at all. My friends asked me why I bought this very old car, and I told them I just trust it. I know every nook and cranny of the car and I believe and trust that it will give me another 100,000 miles and perhaps even more. It is not as exotic as the modern cars now, but it still looks great to me.

good ride - 2005 Honda Accord
By Ron Fielding - November 23 - 2:56 pmWe bought this car as a traveling vehicle. It far exceeds the mileage ratings. We get from 30 to over 38 on the highway. We have been diagonally across the US, and back. The power of the four engine is amazing. It is comfortable and quiet on the highway. Incidentally, I dont slow for the hills, and most of our driving is at 75 mph speeds, and in a lot of elevation changes. I like the looks, but admit I like the taillight treatment of the 06 and later Accord. I also love the look of the instrument array.

Its good - 2004 Honda Accord
By platanus - November 22 - 10:00 amI bought this car 2 about 2 month ago and its in a good shape. I love the interior, especially audio system. It looks luxurious and its easy to control too. I was a little bit disappointed about the 0-100 or acceleration. You have to be at above 4000 rpm in order to accelerate fast. 240hp@6250 212 torque@5500 tells that u really need to reach high rpm in order to feel the good performance.
