This Year's Model Updates:

The Honda Accord -- one of America's favorite vehicles -- has been substantially changed for 2003. Continuing as a sedan and a coupe, the 2003 Honda Accord features more powerful and fuel-efficient engines, increased safety and higher levels of interior comfort. A voice-activated GPS navigation system is optional, and a sporty EX coupe debuts in early 2003.

Pros:
  • Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined powertrains, comfortable driver seat, outstanding optional navigation system.
Cons:
  • Missing key features, relatively small trunk, mushy handling with V6.

  • Best car I have driven so far - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my first Honda and I like it. After 5 years of drive, there still is no noise from inside. Way better quality than my previous Toyota Corolla. And with only a 2.4 L engine, this car accelerates so fast that I felt like in a sport car. And I got 25 GPS minimum when I drove in the city, way better than my previous Nissan Altima. My car only needs to replace engine oil every 10,000 miles. Save money. I never have any problem with my car, except may be one or two recall services by Honda. I love the car and passed this 2003 model to my daughter. I just bought a new 2008 Accord EX for myself.

  • Highly Reliable Honda Accord EX 4 Cyl - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I love my 03 Honda Accord 2.4 cyl EX with leather. With 98,000 miles on it, this car continues to amaze me. The only non-standard repair involved the 6 CD changer/radios electronic screen going blank and the dealer replaced the radio at no charge, even though it was out of warranty (this is a common problem I was told). My car averages 27+ MPG combined and on the highway, it easily exceeds 30 MPG. On my car, the maintenance items like the disc brakes have to replaced every 24,000 miles and the rotors roughly 50,000 miles. The tires on the back were the original tires until recently when I replaced all four tires. This time Ill rotate them, to get even wear.

  • I wouldnt buy the 2003 model - 2003 Honda Accord

I have had many problems with my Accord. Transmission slips without notice, electrical problems, a/c only blows 1 temp. The car seems to have a mind of its own so I wouldnt recommend the 2003 model since this is the 1st year of the new style. Check out the recalls on the 2003s, there are many! Always trouble. Get the 2005.

  • Beautiful Car - 2003 Honda Accord

I love the Accord, from the sculpted body to the 240 horses under the hood, it is truely an amazing car. The more I look at it, the beautiful I think it is. The black leather interior compliments the metallic silver paint perfectly.

  • Hot Family Sedan - 2003 Honda Accord

This is one great family sedan. Most solid Honda Ive ever driven, and Ive owned several. No other company packs as much equipment as they do for a great price.

  • Great car, but the brakes are terrible. - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This is the first new car I have ever owned. It is taken care of meticulously. It has 40000 on it, the brakes have been done twice, the head unit once, and there is a rattle on the pax side. Its fast for a sedan. Louder than it should be on the highway. Its comfortable in all seats. Would I buy another one? Probably, but Ill look around.

  • love it - 2003 Honda Accord

This is my second Honda Accord and I love it! It dominates the other cars in its class. I like the new look - its sleeker and sportier than the older models. The power and handling is great. It has tons of features and the price I got it at was terrific.

  • Overall Great Vehicle - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I recently bought an 03 Accord LX 4dr 5-speed 4cyl, June 2008. I love the reliability of this vehicle. The gas mileage is great on the highway or in the city. With 25+ MPG, it is quite the gas saver. There are hundreds of after market modifications for this vehicle, making upgrading fun and a must. The interior is well laid out with an exterior thats just as well. The Accord is bigger and roomier than the civic making it a more comfortable ride. Options such as cruise control, steering wheel volume control, 5-disc changer and CD player add to the versatility and comfort. I love the fact that oil changes are needed only every 5,000 miles. For the price, an 03 LX was the best option for me.

  • Tell it like it is - 2003 Honda Accord

Nice comfaortable car with easily accesible features through out.

  • EX-V6 Accord approaches Luxury class - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

We looked at the Acura, Infinity, and Lincoln LS. Even though the honda isnt considered in the class of "luxury cars" that those cars are-we couldnt find a feature in the other cars that made it worth the 5k higher price tag. While it lacks exterior appeal, the Accord EX V6 looks better on the inside than the the Camry or any other car we test drove. Feels good to drive, I know its reliable and I didnt feel the need to spend thousands more just for a name.
