Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • I love my Honda - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned my Accord for 2 years and I have not had any trouble with it. The four cylinder engine performs very well. I am glad I did not get the six. The only shortcoming I have found is in the rain, a cracked window allows a lot of water to drip in. It usually ends up on the window controls.

  • Excellently built automobile. - 1994 Honda Accord
    By -

I have had my 1994 Honda Accord for 4 years, and yesterday, I traded it in at 181k miles (still running perfectly) for a 2007 Honda Civic. This accord was the best car I ever owned. I purchased it used as a car to get me through college, and it did that and so much more. Its great on gas and even after almost 16 years (car was built in 1993), still had no rattles, little road noise, and handles like a dream. The only reason I traded is because I wanted a newer car and fell in love with the new Civics. The 1994 is still running perfectly on the factory engine, transmission, and A/C!!! The best most reliable cars out there are Hondas! My 94 is more comfortable than a lot of brand new cars!

  • Best car ever! - 1994 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car from my brother. He bought it from my sister who discards all new cars she buys at 100,000 miles. We snatch them up because there is always life left in them. This car has 220,000 miles and running strong. It has had a radiator and water pump/timing belt changed as well as a wheel cylinder. The motor still purrs like a kitten. The transmission shows a little sign of wear but still runs string and shifts easy. The interior has held up well to my rather large family (I am 66" 350 lbs). I love this car.

  • Amazed so far - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought the 2008 Accord 6 days ago, have put 300 miles on it, and so far, all I can say is...nothing! Im so impressed by this car that I am speechless. The handling of the car around turns is amazing, the engine responds with the right amount of "juice" when I need it, plus I get tons of compliments on its looks. I seriously cant count the number of times someone has said, "whend you get the BM-er?" Not to mention, I have already driven it through a snow storm, which ironically was the day I bought the car, and it handled beautifully! I have nothing but praise for the folks at Honda for hitting a home run on the 2008 Accord!

  • 3rd Accord - 2001 Honda Accord
    By -

I love Accords and will continue to buy them. They seem to go through 3 year stretches of good looking then plain and back again. Very reliable but pricey to fix. I took the remote door lock off my key ring because the panic button has a hair trigger, it starts the horn honking by itself in your pocket.

  • Zippy Little Car - 2005 Honda Accord

After driving SUVs for ten years, the Accord Hybrid is a blast to drive. Over 30,000 miles in one year, and the gas savings keep adding up... and Increasing with the continual rise in gas prices. At expressway speeds, I average 32mpg. Style, comfort, pep, and economy. What else could you want.

  • Rough Riding - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned several Hondas over the years. I have owned LXs, EXs, and CRVs. The 07 Accord has been very disappointing in regard to the ride compared to the previous models I have owned. It is like riding in a log wagon. On bumpy roads you feel every bump and the steering feels unstable. Does not have the solid feel of the previous Accords. Does fine on smooth roads but get ready to get your teeth rattled on bumpy roads at any speed.

  • Best Car Ive Owned - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I owned multiple Hondas, then after a brief (and painfully expensive) experience with a VW, I came back to Honda again with the 2003 Accord Coupe. I havent been disappointed. 98k miles later and only routine maintenance. Still have original rear brakes/rotors. Front brakes and tires changed at 70k. Headlamps burned out at 60k, but they only cost about $30 each to replace so no big deal. Dash panel went out after warranty expiration (I saw others mention the same thing), but it was replaced free of charge without issues. While it may seem that everyone and their brother has one of these, its hard to argue with top-notch quality, along with performance, reliability, and good looks.

  • Great Great Great - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

This is truly "the" automobile. If there is anything negative to say, it would be that the back seats have no leg room. I am taller and need my seat back which eliminates legroom in the back. I dont need back seat so this is basically a 2 seater for me. I love this vehicle! I am never in a hurry to get anywhere anymore. In fact when I get there I wish I still had some more miles to cruise.

  • Micks Accord - 2005 Honda Accord

I have driven Cadillacs most of my life. I gave up on GM so I went to the Honda. The performance of the Honda Accord is excellent. Little or no problems. I have driven the Honda Accord for a year now. It is everything I want in an automobile.
