Not another Honda for me! - 2004 Honda Accord
By NEVER AGAIN HONDA - January 8 - 2:02 pmI purchased my Honda based on the reliability of all reports I read. I had always owned Pontiacs in the past. I am extremely diligent with maintenance. A considerable expense with Honda. I had several problems that cost me additional repairs. Interior light problems, trim not staying on. Storage compartment door broke on 3 occasions. The navi system started acting up. The cost of the navi system was $2,000 when I purchased the car. Today I was told the system needed to be replaced for $5,351. Yet, the cost for a new 2009 Honda Accord with navi is still only approx $2000 more than w/out. What a gimmick! Be warned! Dont waste your money!

Mamas Accord - 2006 Honda Accord
By Mitch - January 8 - 1:37 amWe purchased this Accord in 5-06, new. It has 25K on it as of 1-09. So far its been washed, periodic oil and filter changes and a new air filter. Its trouble free. The gold appeals to my wife and she really loves the car. Fit and finish are also good with a very nice paint job. Mileage is a consistent 25 mpg. Brakes were touchy at first and now are fine. This model is the Value Pack which is the lowest priced Accord. I could not believe we could get a new Honda for under 17K! Some of its many features we enjoy are its high resale value, rock solid feel and its reliability. We got our daughter an 07 Accord and its a carbon copy of ours, a safe, hassle-free reliable car.

Purchased this car last December and have been reasonably pleased with it albeit with a few caveats: The car is not as "quiet" as it should be. Road noise is excessive and additional undercoating did not help matters. Handling is very good. Good sedan, but this is no sports sedan. Engine is nice and the pick up is excellent, although I dont particularly care for steering wheel vibration during idling which the dealer claims to be normal. Fit and finish are good, with a few cheap touches around the back of the front seats. Finally, the two recalls (first the transmission and now the airbag) have me seriously concerned about the quality control at Honda.

Solid Car but low resale - 2007 Honda Accord
By Jeremy - January 6 - 7:00 pmRides great, ridiculous mpg, I get 32 mpg to work and back. Going 70 mph on cruise I get 38. :) Nice smooth clutch, unlike the old flimsy Honda clutches. The only thing wrong with the stereo is that you need to replace the speakers and it will sound great for under $100. If it ever gets wrecked Ill be safe and Ill get another one, just not the new body.

Dont get this car in Pearl or with Leather - 2009 Honda Accord
By JavierDiaz4 - January 5 - 7:56 pmI love my accord. Its my third accord actually. But this one must was the black sheep of them all. I have a discolored rear pearl bumper that I have become accustomed to. Looks the worst when it rains since the car is pearl white. The bumper is more like a creamy color. But now the inside is bugging me, the arm rest looks like junk, the leather is bubbling up really, really bad. Soon its going to all become lifted off. Theres actually websites talking about this issue all around the web. Honda says its not covered by warranty. They quote me a price, which is over 20% more expensive than I can get online. Why would they charge to fix this since its obviously a quality issue.

By bonorch1 - January 5 - 10:00 amI HAVE HAD THIS CAR 2 1/2 YEARS.ON VACTION IN JULY THE TRANSMISION STARTED SLIPPING AT HWY SPEEDS AND OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK STARTED TO SLIP WHILE SHIFTING.THE TRANSMISION WAS REPLACED UNDER WARRENTY WITH A REMANUFACTURED TRANSMISION.I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER I WAS GETTING A NEW TRANS AND THAT HONDA NEVER USES REMANUFACTURED UNITS.WHEN I GOT THE PAPER WORK IT SAID REMANUFACTURED.WHEN I ASKED HIM HE SAID HE NEVER TOLD ME THAT EVEN THOUGH MY WIFE AND SON HERD HIM SAY IT.BUT THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT BECAUSE ITS UNDER WARRENTY.THIS CAR HAS ONLY 18,000 MILES ON IT.ITS BEEN A WEEK WITH THE NEW TRANS SO FAR SO GOOD.

Worst car ever ! Never again !overrated car - 2016 Honda Accord

They say yes , cool , drove 20 miles to find out the car is not available yet and it is in another facility, they told me to try the regular accord 2016 , it would be the same , ok , i did not want the HONDA CARE ! And i told them NO I AM GOOD they still tried hard to convince and the financing manager did not feel ashame to keep telling me about how good it is and it would cover more things that the 3 years manufacturer warranty would , cost is $2400 , i only said ok because i knew i have 60 days to cancell , !!! And guess what eveytime i go to the dealership to fix an issue the first thing they say , oooh this is not covered !! Really ! What is covered then ! I had problems with wheel alignment the car was pulling , took it 3 times for the same issue , oh its not pulling and COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM and bla bla bla BS , i said fine. I will do that on my own never mind , then they called and say oh the manager said he will do the alignment for you , its like they giving me a favoy! Oh nice thank you!! And guess what. That paperwork that they gave me to show the alignment was performed was fake ! I still have the car pulling !! WTH ! When i boight the car i had a $1000 saving from a different dealer , but i still paid the $1000 extra for this dealership. ! The front and back suspension noise is very aggravating , you will feel like driving a tractor on a corn field!! The gas mileage is low 22 mpg combined and now its getting worse about 15 !! They only say oh we cant do nothing about it ! Really ? Who can ? Toyota? Probably yes ! Wind noise at highway speed , mirror shaking a little at high way speed , smoke burning odor win accelerate all COULD NOT BE DETECTED!! I think there is many fake reviews and ratings about this car ! they also offer me a FREE oil change to give then A GREAT feedback on a survey they would send to me ! Really. !? How about i will pay you double the price for your oil change and you just do honest work and service ! Never seen something like this before i owned 3 different vehicles and drove 7 different ones they were all used and never had an issue like this , this honda accord was brand new , tires and rims warranty was about $800 for 5 yrs or 100k miles , did not use so far , but we called once and they say we have to fix the wheels if we have an issue with them then they will send us reimbursement!! Will never buy a honda again.

Nothing special, it will get you there - 2004 Honda Accord
By My1stHonda - January 4 - 10:13 amI purchased this car new and have had no real problem with it. It handles well, gets decent gas mileage, and can be quite comfortable if you like a firm seat. On the downside, there is quite a bit of road noise, and wind noise. Honda should use more sound dampening material. Also, the backlight for the drivers heated seat switch died after 18 months, seat still heats up though. I still do not understand why the steering wheel controls do not light up on the steering wheel, this can be annoying when driving at night. I have the gray leather and the drivers seat has cracked after only 2 years. Seems to be a low quality leather.

Fine Honda but needs improvement! - 2004 Honda Accord
By John Mercer - January 3 - 10:54 amI have owned this V6 w/navi for over 4 yrs. and it is extremely reliable, great gas mileage w/V6 and powerful. I do have suggestions for improvement for the very near future. When this model was introduced, it lacked fog lights which I installed with a Honda OEM kit. I cant live without these lights! Another very important improvement for this car and the newest models (09), would be an 8-way power seat for the front passenger. The front seats are angled or sloped downward at the back too much and make it very uncomfortable for people with back problems. An 8-way adjustment would solve this! I ended up lifting the back of the seat upwards with longer bolts and shims. Otherwise a fine car.
