the best! - 2004 Honda Accord

Its a Honda, through and through - 2003 Honda Accord
By pleased2003owner - January 20 - 6:40 pmWe purchased this car with 23K on it as a certified used Honda. I would never return to the dealership that sold it to us, but have completely loved the car. Avg. 22 MPG city, LOVE the NAV system. The V6 is responsive yet efficient. I would love to see auto headlights, memory seats, and better tires (I replaced the factory tires with some Dunlops that have really improved handling/road noise). The brakes needed new pads at 46K on all four tires...dont know if normal or not.

Not what I thought either - 2004 Honda Accord
By Rob - January 19 - 1:40 pmWhen youre researching a car, its easy just to go off of the reviews without actually asking yourself what you want. I research for months before buying this car, after a while I got HONDAITIS, a condition where you start to believe that HONDAs are holier than thou. I pictured myself happily driving it for 10 years. Once I owned it, I knew that it would be a boring 10 years. After a month I got tired of the bland grey interior. The transmission shifted great, but the engine was weak. Remember an I-VTEC Honda 4-cyl is still only a 4-cyl. I bought a 2000 Grand Am V-6 for a work car a few months after the Accord. My wife started driving it and made me drive the Honda, that says it all.

Accord EX - 2001 Honda Accord

We have had some issues with some of the rubber sealings around the windows but warranty coverage has taken care of the problems. We have added a spoiler on the trunk and it seems to be too heavy - the trunk may fall on your head while open. Overall not a too bad vehicle.

I am disappointed - 2002 Honda Accord
By cvw4100 - January 19 - 10:00 amThe car idles rough and they said these idle rough and that other people have complained, the engine is very loud on take off after sitting for several hours and they said that is the way these are and other people have complained they are saying it is a valve noise. It rides very bumpy over even smooth roads. Steering at 65 is awful it seems like you are constantly fighting to keep the car straight I don! t know if it is the aerodynamics or what. I have always heard what great cars these are and I am trying to figure out why everybody is so satisfied with these.

Honda All the Way!!!! - 2006 Honda Accord
By BeautifulOne - January 17 - 2:36 pmGreat car!!!! I love it!!!! For the last 2 years I had been driving a Volvo S80 T6 that kept breaking down on me. Finally, I said enough is enough, I went back to Honda. My Honda drives better than my Volvo did. The styling is great, the interior is great, and the ride is awesome. I missed driving a stick shift, so I had to get my new Accord with a stick, although I could have gotten the V6-6 speed (didnt want to pay for the extra gas with all the driving that I do) but the 4 cylinder 166 hp is great. Nice get up and go. Way to go Honda, same great car that I have come to know and love.

Fun to drive but poor NVH - 2005 Honda Accord
By gilbert3 - January 17 - 6:49 amGot this car for 4 years now with 96,000 KM in the odometer. During warranty period, need to send back to the service center to change the cock-up alarm system and steering system. Annoyed with loud engine noise, wind noise and tyre noise. Also the suspension system is rather too firm for my liking. Road undulations, tyre and outside noise creep into the cabin. The overall NVH left much to be desired. Engine noise is so annoying that I have to add fuel additive to reduce noise. It helps, believe me. No qualm on the handling aspect. The fun factor somewhat offset the poor NVH and refinement, I guess.

Nothing is perfect-Great basic vehicle - 1999 Honda Accord
By Beppie - January 16 - 11:20 amI have 175K on my 1999 Honda Accord. I am thinking of purchasing another car, but it would only be for fun. My car runs like a new car. I could drive to the moon and back with confidence. I did have to replace the transmission at 90K and the ball joints at 30K. However, Honda covered these expenses and were very apologetic to me. The dealer gave me a loaner car. Keep up the maintenance with an oil change every 3000 miles.
