Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I absolutely love my Accord! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Paige - January 25 - 5:00 amIf you like to travel, then this is the car for you. Since purchasing my Honda Accord I have been to Atlanta, GA, Savannah & Tybee Island, GA, Hilton Head Island, GA and Myrtle Beach, SC. This car is fun to drive and handles incredibly well. My mother fell and broke her right ankle, and left foot. Even with 2 casts on she was able to fit comfortably in the backseat as well as the front passenger side. Investing in this vehicle was the best decision I have ever made!!

Brake Issues!!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Sean - January 24 - 9:20 pmThis car is okay, but the build quality is not what I expected. The spacing between the hood and the quarter panels is wider than my 87 BMW. The chrome-colored plastic on my grill has started to wrinkle. I needed to replace rear brakes first (on an automatic) and I have never used the hand brake. And less than 4000 miles later, my front brakes are squealing. I just took my car to Firestone and they said I had plenty of front pad left and my rotors were fine, but the noise is embarrassing and drives me crazy. I have to turn up my music so that I dont hear it. My remote batteries died very quickly--in less than a year.

The best car I have ever owned - 2003 Honda Accord
By great car - January 24 - 12:30 pmI love this car. It is has great power, is very smooth, fun yet comfortable ride, handles well, and gets great MPG for a 240HP vehicle. I have 123,000 miles on the car. The car is very reliable. When the car was new, it had a couple of issues that were fixed under warranty. But overall, this car is bullet proof. The car seemed to get better as it aged. (You would expect that that after the warranty expires and the car got older more things would go wrong, but just the opposite was true. After the warranty expired, the car did not have any issues) This car is almost maintenance free.

2006 Accord LX - 2006 Honda Accord
By Rick - January 24 - 12:20 pmI own a 1990 Honda Accord with 180,000 miles and am completely satisfied that I got my moneys worth. So far, I have found nothing with my 2006 Honda Accord that I am not completely satisfied with, except maybe the color selections available.

Quality - 2009 Honda Accord
By RC - January 24 - 2:26 amIve owned an Audi & a Lexus, but the 09 EX-L, 2d w/nav (4cy) is an incredible car. My first Honda and what a pleasure to drive. As quiet as either the Audi or Lexus. Craftsmanship is superb. Ive already been asked by several people, "is that a BMW?" Ah nah, and Ive got the extra cash in my pocket to prove it. Excellent ride.

First week in 2008 Honda - 2008 Honda Accord
By Ron Beck - January 22 - 9:50 amJust completed my first week in my 42 month lease in Honda EXL-V6 and cant be happier! Thanks to Edmunds usual accurate reviews, I chose the Honda over many other cars. Love the interior and exterior look, the V6 is sensational, and getting compliments on the steel metallic color as if its a Lexus or BMW. Last tank of gas got 24 MPG. For the record I test-drove the Lexus350 the BMW 5 series, the infiniti G35 and enjoyed the Honda performance equally for far less money! Edmunds has guided me through a 1997, first year C5 Corvette, a 2002 Infiniti G35 and others, always being on target! I thought that I was downgrading, but5 I love the Honda. Thanks Edmunds.

My New Accord - 2003 Honda Accord
By Danibird - January 21 - 2:00 amAfter driving around in a 97 Mazda Protege for the past few years, I decided to "step up the game" and purchase the 2003 Accord. I must tell you that Ive had this car for 7 months now and it has yet to disappoint me. This is a well made car. Not only is it nice to look at, the interior of the car is comfortable enough to want to take those long rides in. This is a great driving experience.

Great Car - 2003 Honda Accord
By jpd289 - January 21 - 2:00 amAn excellent car for anyone. I have a 3 year old and have no problems getting her in a child seat. Comfortable and east to drive. Gas milage could be a little better but staying off the gas would help also. Fun for family or single person.

Outstanding Ride - 2004 Honda Accord
By Michael A - January 21 - 2:00 amLooking for a car for the wife. She wanted a Toyota Camry, but after taking a test drive and comparing vehicles, Honda was the way to go. This is a first in buying a fully loaded top of the line Accord.

Just OK - 2004 Honda Accord
By Soccerizer - January 21 - 2:00 amGood looks inside and out but only 25mpg mixed hwy/city with light touch on gas. Engine not that smooth and too much wind and road noise on fwy, so I have to crank up the radio to hear it. Be sure to test drive before you buy. I didnt. Based my decision primarily on reviews from this web site.
