Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Too much road noise - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

Had this car for 24 hours and I have buyers remorse due to horrible road noise coming into the car. It doesnt happen on every pavement but on most. The noise is just horrible. The pavement near the dealer is new and so the noise was not noticeable there. I dont recommend this car for the price.

I have no interest in replacing this car, which has served me well for years. It did require about $3-4000 in replacement parts at around 105,000. It was well worth the investment. I wish they were still on the market! Only disappointment is that it only got 22 mpg in the city, and about 23-25 highway.

  • 30 mpg!! Average - 2016 Honda Accord

Love the color and everything about this car... No more Camry, no more Chevy. No need for Lexus or High end Acura. Just get the v6 if you want more power. Got this 5500 off the sticker :)

  • Great, refined car - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

The 2006 Honda Accord features a more refined interior than previous years. When ever I ride in a car that goes for about the same price range, I get back into my Accord and appreciate how nice it is. The seats are perfect for a long trip, and the car features a good amount of room in the rear and up front. I love how smooth the car transitions between acceleration ( which is quite good ) and braking. The car handles very well and the breaks are also impressive. The stereo system in the car is also great.

  • Great Car! - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

My parents purchased this vehicle new in August 1999, and it became mine in summer 2008, with 145K on the ticker. It now has 155K and has been dead reliable. Needed a clutch at 118K, ball joints and an ignition a year ago, and various wear items. Only non-wear items that have gone are the backlight for the clock, the left rear window switch in that door (still works from drivers door), and the green LED in the main cruise control switch. Id buy another one in a heartbeat but will hold onto this one for a while, until I can afford a six-speed Acura TL in a few years.

  • Honda Excellence Once Again - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

The new 08 Accord is once again an example of Honda design and engineering excellence. I traded in a great 04 Accord for the new model and can tell the changes in ride quality in the new model. This car makes you feel like you are driving a $50,000+ car for under $30,000. A+++

  • Excellent car to buy - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

We went from a 91 Maxima - about same horsepower and weight. Maxima will blow the Honda away but is V6 vs. 4 cyl. Honda rides a little rougher but it handles better especially in corders. Love the leather but seat belts seem to chew up the trim when you retract or extend them. Awkward to reach between headrest and door post. Front doors do not seem to stay open at a reasonable position. Either too narrow or too wide. Comfotable and roomy. At first power seemed a little weak but it came alive at about 3,000 miles-not that we drive like they do on TV. I would buy another one.

  • From a 3 series to a rich burner... - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

An Accord isnÂ’t anywhere close to 3 series on many facets, namely performance, but sadly to say, in others, it surpasses. The 4 cylinder lacks performance and handling and the gas saving is only minimal. Option for the V6 if it is an option for you. I drive 140 miles daily, and found the comfort the best feature. The controls are logic and easy to use. I did notice the traction control is something lacking at times. What you are getting, most of all, is HondaÂ’s reliable. Something BMW still struggles with.

  • Beauty To Drive - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I walked into the Honda dealership to buy the V6 model of the Accord. I saw the 4 cylinder and took a test drive, a really nice drive although could be a little quiter. I picked up one right from the showroom floor, this was a beauty I could not pass up. Definitely fun to drive.
