Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Best car yet - 2006 Honda Accord

This is the best car I have driven or purchased yet. Volvo cant even come close. The navigation is awesome and very accurate (with little goofs, very rare though). Interior is way better than most ~$30k cars. In short, this is the best investment for your money.

  • First Car Ever - 2004 Honda Accord

I just purchased my EX V6 Coupe about a week ago. I am in love. Absolute love! Although this is my very first car Ive gotten since I am 16, I am sure it is one of the best cars. My parents have owned a Jeep Laredo, M- class Mercedes, 330ci BMW, 745i BMW, X5 BMW, Lexus SUV, and various BMW convertibles. This car is nimbler then all of them. It feels as tight and sporty as all of the BMWs and it is as fun to drive as the convertibles. The smooth ride is above and beyond that of the X5 and 330ci combined. I recommend this car to anyone who is looking to purchase a quality, fun, and perfect vehicle. Young or old, it suits everyone.

  • Honda Quality - 2003 Honda Accord

I have owned the car for 5 months and am having lots of issues. Breaks have been resurfaced twice. Steering column and rack have been replaced. Car steering wanders and is difficult to stabilize. Plus some other minor hassles. Honda and the dealer are very reluctant to resolve any issues. I have just filed car under "lemon" law and hopefully will get my money back. My advice. Look for something else. Honda is not the car it used to be. They are cutting corners on quality and customer service

  • Best & Most Reliable Car Ever - 1992 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased my 92 Accord Oct 98 with 52.5K miles. I am the 2nd owner. It now has 261K miles. It has been maintained, w/ 3K oil changes, timing belt & water pump at 90K, trans serviced every 25K. Just replaced original muffler at 259.5K miles. Best vehicle I have ever owned and I believe it will run for at least 400K miles as long as I keep it maintained. The car still has great acceleration and will run at 80-85 MPH with no trouble. Cruise is best I have ever seen. Wish I could find another one with low mileage to purchase.

The car has been great for me. Its good on fuel and it rides nice on the road. In additon, because the car is roomy inside, all 5 passages can fit comfortable and there are cup holders in the back for the passengers.

  • VERY SATISFIED - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

Had a Nissan Altima 2013 S which was problematic from the start. Everything about that vehicle was a big disappointment. Saw the newly redesigned Honda and fell in love with it. Went to the dealeship and test drove a sport and that was it. Although, I was a bit hesitant from losing money from trading in my new Altima, I couldnt have been happier to do so. The Honda is just a terrific car all around. No complaints whatsoever.

  • 2DR EX-L V6 - 2003 Honda Accord

I purchased the car used new with 60k miles. I love to drive it, its very fast, reliable, comfortable and stylish. Its a great value for the money. The only draw back is the CD unit after only 6 months of having the car @ 68k miles the CD player and circuit board went out. The Honda dealer replaced the circuit board for free, and i had to pay an outrageous $600 dollars for the CD player to be repaired.

  • European look with Honda quality - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

I recently migrated from a 2002 Accord Coupe EX V6 and so far I could not be happier with this new car. I was concerned about moving to a 4-cylinder but it has enough pep to get the job done. The sporty look, inside and out, along with the paddle shifters for manual mode add enough juice to it I am not missing the V6. All the chrome trim inside with the aluminum peddles really make it feel like a more pricy European vehicle. Im was pleasantly surprised at how roomy the back seat is. I expect the same quality I have come to appreciate from Honda.

  • Could it get any better? - 1990 Honda Accord
    By -

Weve just celebrated 19 years together and hoping for many more. This car just runs and runs - nothing but routine maintenance. Over the years there have been several brake jobs, a set of CV boots, a new radiator, several sets of Michelins (only way to go for the original feel), two timing belts, and new motor mounts. I have averaged just about $250 per year over the life of the car. Radio, tape deck, clock and AC work great - usually the first things to go! Id add a CD, except I dont want to ruin the ambiance. Every year I go test drive new cars and decide Im not ready to part with this one. The kids have given up on inheriting it any time soon.
