Overview & Reviews
The Honda Accord -- one of America's favorite vehicles -- has been substantially changed for 2003. Continuing as a sedan and a coupe, the 2003 Honda Accord features more powerful and fuel-efficient engines, increased safety and higher levels of interior comfort. A voice-activated GPS navigation system is optional, and a sporty EX coupe debuts in early 2003.
- Tight build quality, quiet cabin, refined powertrains, comfortable driver seat, outstanding optional navigation system.
- Missing key features, relatively small trunk, mushy handling with V6.

Great Ride - 2003 Honda Accord
By Wally B. - November 3 - 10:00 amI love my silver Honda Accord EX. The 4 cyl engine is powerful and smooth. The composition of the dash, radio, CD and clock is great. Love the moonroof controls. The only negative is that I would have preferred another interior color than black but in the final analysis that situation is minimal. This is my fourth Honda and my first EX. I am really enjoying driving this car. As you can tell I am sold on the Honda Accord. Its realibility is very noteworthy.

Overrated by thousands of people - 2003 Honda Accord
By AcuraT - October 21 - 4:49 pmThis car has been okay but not nearly as great as many claim it to be. City mpg is about 14 with the V-6 engine with light throttle, 28 to 30 highway. Car has had transmission problems, electrical issues, and generally not that reliable. I also owned a 2001 Acura TL that nearly stranded me at 61,000 miles due to a faulty transmission. This will be my last Honda since the dealer is not sympathetic even with the extended warranty ("that is normal"). I do not recommend Madison Honda in Madison, NJ to fix any Honda - do not buy the extended warranty there.

Good performance midsize car - 2003 Honda Accord
By Dr Who - October 21 - 4:21 pmBought the EX V6 new in Jan. 03 and been happy with the car 30K later. I had several recalls work, most serious was the tranny. However, it started every time and have never broken down once in 5.6 years. Its fairly fast and hold it own against the BMW, Audi but at a much lower cost. Very good car for the money as compared to the Maxima or Camry. It certainly is not as luxurious as the Germans or Japanese high end but is a decent ride. Road holding is not great due to the tires. Mileage (23 MPG) is actually worse than my 1993 Maxima (25 MPG) mainly because of the 5 speed auto held back at 4th gear in city traffic.

No Thrills but No Chills Either - 2003 Honda Accord
By DCARR - October 21 - 11:43 amIve owned my Accord EX-L for almost 5 years now and its truly amazing. If youre looking for a car to wow you with performance and handling look elsewhere. But if you want a vehicle that looks classy, rides well, gets great MPG and does just about anything with ease get an Accord. Ive taken it on long trips and even though its 5 years old with 40K miles I still prefer it over a rental car any day when I have the option for a business trip. Taught both my teenagers to drive in it and everybody survived! Easily the best all around car I have ever owned...I hope to keep it for many many years to come.

Solid All Around - 2003 Honda Accord
By RyanGag - October 17 - 10:00 amThis car is a great all around performer. It is quick off the line and handles pretty well. It cruises at high speeds with ease and is very quiet on the highway. Interior is laid out well and is very attractive. Cant beat the bang for the buck, heated seats, strong V-6, dual climate, sunroof, soft leather, 6 disc...the list goes on and on.

Best car I have owned - 2003 Honda Accord
By mred0950 - September 27 - 10:00 amThis is my 3rd Accord and my 4th Honda. I have owned over 12 cars in the past 35 years and no car has impresed me as much as the 2003 Accord EX V6. I had looked at Toyota and others but for the price no car could beat the Accord. Ive had the car a few weeks now and I have no complaints of any kind. The car is loaded with everything and anything any driver could ask for.

peppy, comfortable ride but low mileage - 2003 Honda Accord
By chilehead - September 24 - 9:03 pmI recently bought this used to have a cash car and to get into something with better gas mileage than my truck. I love the styling and would say it on of my favorite years for being sporty and practical all in one car. I have lots of trunk space, the seats are comfortable and the stereo even sounds good. My main issue is Im getting poor gas mileage. I wasnt expecting the EPA mileage, but for a 4-cyl, I was hoping for better than 20/30. I average about 23-24 mpg. I have explored all the gas saving tune ups too. I was getting 19-20 in my v-8 truck. I wish I would have opted for the 6-cyl as the mileage is about same with more oomph.

"WINNAH!" - 2003 Honda Accord
By Supaman358 - September 21 - 10:00 amHonda has done it again with their Accord line. For 2003 the new accords comfort is unmatched for the price your getting it for. Having experience with a 2002 camry too, although the camry may Look better on the Outside, but never judge a car by its hood!, its whats under the hood and whats in the car(interior kicks A$$) and has more luxury features and more options to customize, the accord is more on the conserviative side and priced and built only with highest quality in mind, still manage to blance out with conserving and FUN to drive:-D
