Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

From a owner whos had it a few years - 2003 Honda Accord
By BlackHonda - April 21 - 7:20 amSometimes its nice to hear from someone whos had it a few years. I have the new body style and I absolutly love the car. The one problem Ive experienced was that the gas cap HAS TO BE screwed on TIGHT (hear three clicks)! If this isnt done then youll get air in your tank and engine chugs, this is apparently a common problem according to the dealership. Other than that I love it. Nice design, looks expensive, feels like a solid car, black looks great!

Purchased used... - 2001 Honda Accord
By Scott - April 20 - 5:29 pmMy Accord is fully equipped, with leather interior... had 89k on it when I bought it and has 112K now. Absolutely perfect. Its a dream to drive (with one exception to be noted) comfortable and great ergos... took a 400-mile trip and aside from the usual stops, drove straight through. Got out of the car like Id gone to the store and back... that comfortable. Styling is impressive to me, the engine is very responsive and Ive gotten a high of 34mpg on the road... 21 +- around town.

From a BMW to a 2018 Accord Touring Sedan - 2018 Honda Accord
By SCTrojans - April 20 - 1:20 pmI traded in my 2016 BMW 330i for a 2018 Accord Touring Sedan and I could not be happier. I am not a fan of Hondas but after reading several review and watching YouTube videos I decided to take a test drive. First and foremost the look is amazing. Looks very similar to an Audi A7. The fastback style it easy on the eyes with the 19-inch wheels and has perfect lines and detail. The interior competes with many luxury cars as the leather and seat comfort is fantastic for long drives. The aesthetics on the console and steering wheel compliment the vehicles upscale interior. The Navigation is average as the Accord utilizes Garmin for services and lacks many custom options you would find on other brands. Boot up time on the Navigation head unit is also a bit slow. The ride on the other hand is amazing. Nice and smooth even with the larger wheels and performance tires. The car comes with Sport and Eco mode options and Eco mode is a serious disaster. It dumbs the car down to something my Grandma would drive. The Sport mode thought is fantastic. You can really see the performance of the 1.5 turbo engine. This is a mode I will never change as it opens up the cars performance. A couple of features I miss are the electronic adjust steering wheel and side mirrors. You need to use your hands to make the adjustments and can be a bit of a pain. The Honda Sensing features are great bit also a but overreactive. I have had by Lane Watch warning go off when a car pulled up to me at a stop light. a bit annoying. Overall. I am glad I purchased this car and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a solid sedan.

Nice car, but check the driver seat - 2008 Honda Accord
By SedanDriver - April 19 - 6:26 pmPurchased the Accord EX-L V6 new versus a used Infinity M35 or Acura. The EX-L compares very favorably versus any other sedan in its class and has many of the basic features found in "near- luxury" cars at a reasonable price. Park it next to a BMW 5 series and you see the exterior design similarities. This car would be perfect except for one major complaint, the design of the drivers seat. There is a bulge about halfway up the seatback that is immovable and eliminates any support for your shoulders. This is independent from the lower lumbar support. It may not be noticable to you on a brief test drive so check this out before buying, as there is no solution available from the dealer.

I like it! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Dasilva3615 - April 19 - 10:40 amI like it. I really like it! I have to say that this is my 5th Accord and I am hooked on them. My 98 got totaled so I went for this. The Avalons design is prettier inside out but the engine is same size so I said y not? The ride is good, the sound system is more than adequate and it handles excellently. Once again, I like it. Theres nothing else to say.

Great Car! - 2002 Honda Accord
By Bob - April 18 - 9:19 amFirst Honda I have ever owned and it wont be the last! This car is virtually maintenance free - mjust add gas and change the oil every 3000 miles. When I bought the car I changed the timing belt and water pump but that is all the service in the 18 months I have had it.

Great Car! - 2005 Honda Accord
By HondaFamily - April 18 - 1:13 amThis is our second Honda Accord sedan and fourth Honda. After test driving the Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Mazda 6, Volkswagen Passat, and Honda Accord, we liked the Accord best. Smooth ride, fit and finish, smooth shifting transmission, and feature packed for a $25,000 car! We have had poor experiences with the big 3 American automakers in the past and didnt want to have a financial burden repeat again. We found the Honda to be the best value in the bunch. We opted for no navigation system (we know how to use a map), and were fortunate enough to get employee pricing on our Accord. This is a great car and we hope to have it for many years to come.

Its great driving a smaller new car - 2006 Honda Accord
By Evelyn Jacobs - April 17 - 9:30 pmI had a very large turning radius in my late husbands Cadillac...What a pleasure it is to be able to make a turn in one movement... It took me a while to get used to the inner mechanics and stickshift [automatic] on the console [instead of the wheel]. I still have difficulty releasing the hand brake because Im not as strong as I used to be. But, now its a real delight to zip around! P.S. Im 88 years old.

My Honda - 1996 Honda Accord
By Fl Boi - April 17 - 7:46 amI bought my Honda out of someones yard for $3k and its the best $3k that Ive spent. Ive driven it everywhere. I like the get-up-and-go, however I do wish it had at least 30 more horses, and the front seats could be a little softer. Overall I cant complain I plan on having my Honda in my fleet for the foreseeable future.
