Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Second Look after 3000 miles - 2003 Honda Accord
By guenther - April 29 - 10:00 amSecond review after having the car for 7 months. The interior dial lights look like your headlights are on when ignition key is in. The cars suspension seems to provide a very bumpy ride. The moving arm rest between bucket seat seems useless and dangerous. The two door coupe for my wife and I was a poor choice, not easy to place anything in the rear seat.

Its a super safe car~ - 2003 Honda Accord
By miniKT - April 29 - 10:00 amMy parent bought me this first car as my 19th birthday. Unfortunely I had a big collison on the freeway with one passenger with me. The car was total, all airbags pop out, the amazing new is both of us are safe, only had some minor seatbelt burns. I love the car when i first bought it, after the crash, i love it more because it can truely protect me and my friends from any accidents. I am planing to buy back one next week. The 4cylinder is fast enough for me, so i am not thinking of upgrading it, therefore, i put the money into the interior, i am planing to get the exact same one with the navigation!! (((i miss my car)))

I Love My Honda! - 2003 Honda Accord
By lara - April 29 - 10:00 amLet me start by saying that I am unabashedly a Honda fan. This is my second Accord and Im almost positive it wont be my last. The new Accord has a smoother ride and much better acceleration. Really I think to purchase the V6 would be a waste of money. Front and back seats seem roomier. The controls in this model seem much more intuitive and easier to use while driving. I love being able to control the radio from the stirring wheel. The wood grain accents, which come with the ex model, give the interior a more polished look. I honestly cant imagine owning a better car for the money.

Better than expected - 2005 Honda Accord
By David - April 29 - 4:06 amWith a daughter in college, we needed a practical, economical car. Choice came down to the Accord and Mazda 3 (a good car). Decided to spend the extra for the Accord -- good choice! The car is quiet, comfortable, and handles very well. Controls are logical and easy to use. The adjustible steering column makes finding an ideal driving position easy. Knew of Hondas quality, just did not expect this car to be as comfortable as our former 92 Lexus ES 300. Handles much better than the Camry.

My Honda 2006 - 2006 Honda Accord
By Majordad - April 28 - 8:46 pmMy Honda VP 2006 Accord was purchased new. I was disappointed in the gas mileage and the quality. Before, I had a Honda Accord DX 1991-2006, this Accord was built solid. But, 2006 has noticeable road noise, doesnt turn as well. Its like Honda wanted to save money by building lighter and cheaper car. Overall 7.5.

the rattler - 2004 Honda Accord
By Tony - April 28 - 1:23 pmGreat car. Super performance. Various car magazines clock it very very close (in acceleration, 0-60 and 1/4) to a 350z. Fantastic interior, very comfortable and well laid out. Great except that several trips to the dealer have failed to stop a horrendous (loud) rattle coming from the dashboard. Unacceptable for a 29000 car, or a 15000 car. Ruins the whole experience. Seems like junk when a loud rattle destroys an otherwise great ride.

Another defective transmission - 2002 Honda Accord
By Paull - April 24 - 4:45 pmI like many others have a defective transmission with only 91,000 miles. Honda wont fix it. The transmission was slipping for many years but got worse the last 2 months. I went online and was surprised by all the other Accord owners with the same problem, which really surprised me about a Honda car. There were so many complaints that I was not sure why there is not a recall. I thought Honda had great quality, bad this did not happen in my case. By the way, the new transmission will cost me $35,000.

Honda, Honda, Honda - 2005 Honda Accord
By Sly - April 23 - 11:20 pmJust got the EX4dr and its great. Quiet, smooth and can get up & Go(for a 4cyl that is). Got for $21,700 out the the door, with the Spoiler w/brake light and a bed liner in the trunk. Cant beat that. The handling on this car is as good as it gets. If choosing between Camry, Accord, or Altima it really a no brainer. Just dont budge on your price at the Dealer. Knowing how good the car is and how bad some people want them theyll take advantage of you. they tried to sale it to me for 23,789 without taxes tag etc. I got it for 21k with tax tag etc included! Worth 21k but not 24,25k.
